@@CarwynKaytlyn-x1l - I drive all over as an otr truck driver and I have yet to see a Tesla charging station for their semi trucks. If you were to buy this battery truck on the promise that there will be charging stations… well, you’d be stranded in the middle of nowhere with a dead battery. Don’t buy this battery truck until you see charging station everywhere you go. Even if they give you one for free, I wouldn’t take it out on the road because I don’t wanna be stuck needing to be towed on dead battery

As an otr truck owner operator, only way tesla semi will be looked at as a realistic alternative to a diesel truck is the following, 1). Driving range has to be between 700 - 800 miles per single charge (this is how far you could be driving in a day) and 2). Must be able to charge up truck battery using an APU (diesel engine) or plugged in into a charging station. So you don’t get stranded. Think Chevy Volt. 3). Your truck battery should be charged fully in 10 hours using diesel APU. ------------- Your truck must be able to travel minimum 500 miles after charging for 30 minutes being plugged into a charging station is acceptable. But still, diesel APU charging capability is a requirement. Don’t want to be stranded because the battery juice ran out. If you can do all that, then the truck is a viable alternative to meet the distance requirements of any otr truck driver.

A new sleeper? Weren't there plans before the Semi Truck was released to the public a few years ago, about a sleep cabinet? So the driver could sleep and rest? Now it seems they removed the sleep cabinet, than published the Semi Truck v1.0 only to actually add it to this Semi Truck update anno 2025.
