You know what's amazing Chad, is that every day you have had to over come some sort of issue. Shoes, detours, road, wind, losing your charger, tar on pants, and of course broken sunglasses. Instead of complaining about it, you find the lessons and move on with smile. Thank you brotha! (Keep on pushin!!!)

This trip is an amazing metaphor for the recovery journey from addiction. Get up every day, ignore all the distractions, and accept that some days will be super harder than others. It will feel like you are barely moving, but don’t give up. Every single push is getting you closer to the goal. Chad’s biggest lesson on the crappy days: just be excited that you’re on the journey.

That guy’s excitement was so awesome, and I feel like all of us watching daily would react the same exact way. I bet he’s never going to forget holding your board!

Skate Across america day 40: hey guys, today were skating with these 7 tornados and 3 hurricanes but it's not too bad, my garbage bag is holding up better than my sunglasses so it should be fine. But the ground still kind of sucks tho 😂 Man you are a machine 💪 I want to do something like this so bad

The way the cows run up it's like they have heard of you and were expecting you. Somehow the other cows must have given them a heads up so they could greet you :)

This series is also an incredible case study on street infrastructure, its pretty stunning to see the vast disparity of surfaces of the roads as you move across the county lines some places have sidewalks, bike lanes, streetlights, sewers, storm drains and other places don't even have a shoulder or are just a dirt ditch filled with trash and debris, its crazy its all the same country alot of texas looks like rural Mongolia or China.

Such amazing people you meet on the road. Just a thought, some shoe models take some time to wear in and they are just a tight fit in the beginning. Try to soak your new shoes and fill them with a towel or something to make them expand over the night. Or if you have a microwave, put the shoes in there with a wet towel inside and it should do the trick for expanding your new shoes.

Chip seal is no joke. Used to skate a mile from school on chip seal. Can't imagine doing that for the length you have gone. Super impressive. Keep it up!

My two cents. I grew up in Florida so I’m used to skating in the rain but I have no real experience with ceramic bearings. That being said I would not lubricate them. If they’re spinning well leave them be. Just my two cents. Giving me hope.

From becoming a long distance runner recently I found, for blistering on the feet - Tape your toes with breathable tape and use some Zinc Oxide on some gauze on blisters. Seems from the tape try to align on top of the toe. It will help. You can get this all at walmart, CVS, etc.. Keep pushing man!
