"It hurts, but I love it." - USA Taekwondo Team 

I shadowed the USA Taekwondo Team in Rio de Janeiro at the 2024 Pan American Taekwondo Senior Championships. This was a G4 event, providing crucial points leading to the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
I wasn't able to stay for the fight day, so I captured the team practicing in 90 degree weather. There is something about sports. Something unique that each athlete shows, whether they know it or not. I can't really put a word on it, maybe it's grit or determination. Whatever it is, I can't help but admire it. From grassroots athletes to world class Olympians and coaches, it's a pleasure watching them through their journeys.
