It is a good thing we saved this spot for a day like today 

Metal detecting this old farm now overgrown well after 100 years of being deserted we had saved the side yard section. Well today was cold at 18 degrees and it was the perfect location to just go and dig. This old site goes back into the 1700s and was a very busy farm in the 1800s and in the past we have found a lot of great relics and coins here. Today in the cold we walked it all back and fourth in-between the rock walls and the cellar hole. Metal detecting old places like this with all the New England history your going to dig up old artifacts for sure , and we did.
