that knob though. wish I could control everything in my life which such a knob. In fact, I might end up with one of these as since you can feed pre-out from it, I'd use it to control the volume on the other amp. And it's an amp too. Very convenient.
32:15 i have an element 1, and for a long while i had it on its side adhered to my PC case (on the left) on my desk. knob facing to the right, fantastic use of space in a messy desk setup. highly recommended with a side mount.
Options is always nice, but I kinda like how JDS has committed to a smaller subset of things they think actually make a difference to sound/user experience for desk headphone users. More focused products/software generallu just work better
My only gripe I had with my OG Element were the rubber feet always coming off. I replaced them with velcro, and had it in place on my table. It's now my daily driver again, as I have become too lazy to unpack from moving yet
18:38 "it's like six decibels" Almost, it is 2.43x, which, if my calculations are correct, translates to about 7.69 decibels :) And while it is not really that much of a use in Balanced version, in RCA high gain is 4.73x instead, and it makes much more sense there.
God that WA7* is so sexy, I want one so bad. I think it’s absurd the prices some companies charge for things, if it’s that that good though🤷🏼♂️ my MT602 with 1952 Sylvania tubes is pretty amazing though, highly recommend it, it makes my DT770’s actually bearable at volumes
Grab a Little Dot MKII and throw those tubes in it, that's your next upgrade just replace the power tunes with any decent Russian Tube and you're set. At least that's how it worked for me and how I upgraded from my 602, Lyr 2 and Cavelli Hybred.
Am i the only one who is bugged but the the go pro mounted ND filter getting into the frame when Z lowers his head? ive been seeing it in a couple of videos. Its mostly visible on the left but it also shows up on the right

If you watch the last vid I kinda poo-poo the all subs by studio monitor companies. Go check it out as the way you are hooking it up might allow for any number of decent subs.
@@masterxyr I knew the numbers already, was asking more about the lived experience. I've always been a big fan of the big knob but I don't want to leave anything on the table. Currently debating between archel xl and this. Or k9pro but that's less so because it's gigantic.
@@jamiescott1218 k9pro is a must. but I love the cayin h6 amp. so gorgeous, However, for those of us who cannot resist a good knob, it's inevitable. we gonna get one sooner or later :D
@@ZReviews I guess if you don't ever switch to line out on the back and leave it on most of the time it'd be no big deal, but I switch to my speakers enough where that would bug me. Would rather the line outs were just always active then b/c the power button on my speakers is accessible.
