That's how it's supposed to be. The 3 governing bodies postponed their mandatories for Usyk v AJ 2, then for another 1.5 years for undisputed. Usyk should fight Philip or be stripped
@@FiveTwo_Nick philip is bare bum in the shower who doesnt deserve sht, he got a robbery win vs zhang and suddenly he wants to fight for a belt? He will do what he is told and wait in the corner while real fighters fight for belts and if dubois beats hrgovic then by your logic he takes the belt from the fighter he just lost to? gtfo
The utter hypocrisy of Hearn, he never made any protestations when AJ had the belt, Usyk has worked hard and 3 of his 6 fights at heavyweight have been against the best in the divison, so wind it in Hearn!!
@@almac9203 the only reason he’s not happy about Usyk keeping the belt because he’s obviously promised his fighter Hrgovic a crack at it against Dubois, now hes probably going to have to go through both Dubois and Joshua to get his shot!!
It’s plenty fair. He beat one of the guys that would be fighting for it already, and beat the guy who’d be fighting the winner of that fight twice and just beat the other champion in the division. Usyks been the unified champion since 2021, has never lost a fight. Who else should be holding that belt? Edit: everyone complaining you finally have 1 champion with all the belts and now you want Usyk stripped so guys he’s beaten a dude who got beat by a 300lbs 5 round fighter can fight for the vacant belt just so Usyk can beat them? Let the dude defend his undisputed belts then retire then all these guys can fight for the belts.
No Usyk should've faced Hrgoviv when he was made mandatory in 2022. Instead of fighting him Usyk fought Dubois. And no DDD wasn't the WBA mandatory as far as we know, he was the regular champ. Since Usyk didn't face his mandatory in Hrgovic for almost 2 years, he should be stripped. Not that the IBF isperfect, consistent or even slightly transparent, but if u have to face a mandatory try to actually do that. Also consider Usyk had more than enough time to do so, unlike the likes of Cordina and Crawford wo were stripped in a matter of months. Usyk in comparison had 2 years.
@@TavaraTheLaughingLion regular champion means he was mandatory. There is a que of you have multiple titles. It is now the IBFs turn and I would love to see Usyk vs. The mandatory since we all know fury is just going to keep postponing the rematch then retire then come out of retirement then postpone again
@@hossainrouf A WBA regular champion is not a mandatory challenger, otherwise there would not have been so many "regular" champions who didn't fight in a mandatory bout for YEARS. It has been the IBF's turn for 2 years. Usyk has not fought a mandatory since defeating AJ the 2nd time. Crawford got stripped over a rematch within 3 months. Cordina got stripepd over an injury within 5. Given Usyk didn't defend his IBF title against a mandatory in 2 years, it makes sense for Usyk to be stripped. Again, we're talking TWO years of not fighting a mandatory.
@@TavaraTheLaughingLion I found it strange how WBA was called ahead IBF last year. For a long time the talk was Hrgovic is next. Then suddenly WBA and Dubois, maybe Frank Warren pulled some strings. Hrgovic v Usyk is a great fight.
@@saulwest8254 It's those "Regular", "Super" belts from the WBA that causes all the confusion. When those 2 belts unify, like when Usyk fought Dubois, most media outlets call it a "mandated fight", but the WBA's rules differentiate between a "consolidation title fight" and a "mandatory contest". Whichever sanctioning body would mandate Usyk to fight a mandatory, it was always the case that the IBF's mandate was the one that needed to be handled first as it was the very first order Usyk received after he defeated AJ the 2nd time. Usyk's decision to fight Dubois rather than Hrgovic has things to this point.
@@Mav90210 so why did they stripped from Fury as well 2 weeks after he won off Klitschko? Same thing, Martin vs Polish guy fought for it and then all the sudden AJ became a voluntary challenger. Same thing here that Eddie is campaigning for to make AJ a 3 time WC.
Cope who’s Hrgovic even fought to be in for a title shot lmao, he lost to Zhang but got the matchroom decision. I like him but be honest his resume is terrible haha
Hearn is such a hypocrite, never bothered him when aj had it, and he screaming that Ryan garcia should be banned for life, yet defends benn. Because he promotes him,, he's such a knob
Its really not fair for dubois to get another title shot after quitting to the Usyk and Joyce. Hrgovic doesn't deserve it either he won a robbery against Zhang for his mando spot
Go on hearn put AJ IN WITH EITHER OFF THE 2 TOP BOXERS AND WRECK HIS CAREER COMPLETELY NOTICED HIM IN RING SIDE FOR THE FIGHTS HIS FACE 😳 SAYS IT ALL 😂😂😂😂
Aj will never be a champ again its over for him walk away Aj with some grace you are not no elite fighter your a showman and usik will bring you down as will fury its your call leg it 💪 😅
Even if Joshua won a belt, only DAZN and Hearn would pretend he was a champion. Joshua Usyk 3 would be absurd. It could not be billed as "a unification"
I don’t get the obsession of AJ waiting around for a belt. You want to win and defend a belt to say you’re the best but if he’s passing up good match ups and has already lost to the best, what the hell is the point. Is it just to use it as a marketing ploy and to make some more money?!
