regardless of the reality of the situation you're going to keep hearing it forever because of the success of the other sisyphus game, you are probably better off learning to be content with the comparisons and try not to let the accusations get to you too much. trying to convince anything to the totality of the internet is its own sisyphean task

I believe that. In my opinion though, it doesn't matter if there's more than one Sisyphus game, just as long as each one is interesting, engaging and fun. Both games clearly have their individual gaming mechanics and different approaches. I'm excited to see what obstacles Sisyphus faces when going up the real mountain. But mostly I'm hoping to see the legend and why and how he got to this mountain to begin with. Hermes brought him here and challenged Sisyphus' ego. Zeus damned him to Hades, and Hades, Persephone and Thanotos felt cheated and irate from his cleverness and wit in escaping Hades. No one simply escapes Hades, you see. This game is such a perfect opportunity to educate on the Greek Gods, which I believe is greatly needed in our culture.

With Sisyphus" was in development way before "The Game Of Sisyphus", in fact the Game of Sisyphus was only announced a little over a week after my first viral post that got covered by IGN. So chances are they actually got the idea from me first.
