I feel the final touch to the bunker might be a periscope. When chaos reigns, you can check to see if the coast is clear before scavenging for crumpets.
No more like get bought by the government for MPs to hide from the angry Mobs that are allegedly besieging their houses because of their crap policies.
You realize the UK is currently in the middle of a digging boom, right? Due to their restrictive building modification rules, adding in basements over there is as common as adding on to your house is in America. Look up “London Iceberg Home”.
@@jackwilson9829 maybe use one way valves? Although maybe if there is pressure against them he won't be able to flush. Ehhh... Maybe I don't know enough about plumbing and should keep my mouth shut. However, do you know who used to be a plumber? Colin, so if it's possible he'll figure it out.
Great work Colin. Your bit of town must have a very low water table! Where I live in Cambridgeshire if I tried replicate your project It would be a brilliant swimming pool with diving practice tunnels!
Funnily enough, the music he uses is the only thing I dislike about his videos lol. Not a fan of people with cockney accents yelling out of key over 2-chord guitar riffs. 😂
@@gabrielblacklock3921 …… you probably like Ed Sheeran…… Maroon Five,,,,, or Mudvein….. beat it What do you know about chord structure?? Punk has some of the most difficult technical stuff of any genre alongside bluegrass……..
When the garage and the connection to the backyard bunker are complete this whole complex is going to be EPIC! Next, I'd suggest armoring the house with steel shutters or bulletproof glass and wall panels.
I’d rather use more space underground before doing anything with the house. Extra room sideways or one more level down. It’s kinda cool to have unremarkable house and secret maze system underneath.
I love the super villian vibe going on with the rock wall and bare metal look! I hope you can leave some of the bare rock in the final part, it's most excellent.
@bevoisgodify the neighbor did swear a lot, bur it was indeed out of amazement cause he was just confused on how Colin did it cause there weren't any big machines or noise
This project is the most effort any youtube builder challenge has ever committed to a single project, everyone, please support every video Collin makes, make it worth the time and money !!!!
This project is great. it's probably going to make the house un-sellable BUT you're adding huge amounts of square footage. Imagine if you were able to go another level deeper. Basically a subterranean mansion.
unsellable why? he's gone through the trouble of getting all the proper permits for everything. should be safe enough. it'd be two or 3 times more expensive than the other houses on the street though, probably have to list it as a bunker with a house instead of a house with a bunker
It’s not for sale. People who buy that kind of stuff also like it to be remote, in the side of the rock or in a forest, on an island etc. Friends of mine are upgrading a house in a mediocre area, but the house is going to be really modern and large, but they are planning to live there for generations, otherwise it’s a wrong place to build a house like that.
Bro really built his own bit of Swiss Architecture 😮 🎉 incredible progress Colin! To be entirely honest, I never expected it to be so aesthetically pleasing as a DIY project, congratulations and keep it up!
He said “I create things and dig tunnels “ lmao love this man! He also made turbo rockets out of toilet roll parts and furze’s fast, fast food. Classic!
Looks awesome… makes me want to do something similar… in a smaller scale of course… can’t wait to see the big room all finished… that and the path to the bunker…
I'm more excited to see the tunnel going to the gaming shelter under the shed but this has still been fun to watch. I wonder when he will have more square footage under the home then above it?
