He'd be waiting until June if he did that, and at that point it's too late to do anything anyway. Even now it's pushing it and means it will be a late wet harvest

A great video Olly, I got all my chain harrowing done so nice lines on the fields. Next door have cut and baled some fields for silage here in Cornwall.

Mostly dry, but just windy enough to stop me going outside after dialysis. That was maybe a good thing in itself today, since I was able to call assistance for another patient who started bleeding again in the waiting room. Another really good dialysis day, helped by 9 yellow cars including a McLaren (seen across a roundabout so exact model unknown), 2 orange (one a Ford ASBO) and a purple, oh and yellow lorry red lorry. Chinese for tea, well red Thai curry from "Chinese" takeaway. Say 125%.

Those hydraulic folding rollers are great, better than having to hitch up the old gangs of Cambridge rollers. What a nightmare wet spring, in the late 70s out farm manager got a helicopter in to top dress. The chopper used to land the hopper on our trailer and hover above while we filled it with 4 cwt sacks, a bit noisy and drafty. Only 10 out of 10 for getting out of that mud, good effort. If you don’t use the front pto do yourself a favour for the future and remove the drive shaft entirely. Will save you big in time if anything else ever goes wrong

hi olly do you actually pay morgan ? are you a charity case meaning you dont need to purchase inputs to grow them crops your planting ? it seems the only way you could turn a profit and this is coming from a fellow arable farmer

It’s a lazy operator that doesn’t full scout the land he’s attempting to till, you unnecessarily caused compaction with your negligence.. As a land owner you’d not be allowed to lease my land by forcing yourself onto unsuitable conditions that didn’t involve a last chance to harvest a crop.. Pre-plant mudding is just irresponsible..
