4 years later and I still love this trailer. The new IT adaptations are 10x better than the mini series, I was so glad Andy Muschietti was able to capture the spirit of the book with both movies.
@@patriciamcdermott9589 there’s honestly tons of material left from the book that didn’t make it into the movies, would be awesome if they did another movie
I finished reading the novel for the first time 6 days ago and watching Chapter 1 soon after was just STUNNING! The cast was fantastic (especially Bill Skarsgard as Pennywise) and I love how Muschietti really touched on the central themes and tone of the story while taking a few deviations. The 90s miniseries has always been a favorite of mine yet I give huge praise for what the movie touched on and represented in contrast to that screen version.
@@Iliftyouupmyredsolocup I remember reading the novel way back in the 80's. IT was scary but I did not read or remember reading anything about a clown. Haven't watched the movie. The movie was not like the novel at least not what I remembered.
I really like this movie. But Part II doesn't work. The 90's series made the right decision by trying to tell the adults and children stories parallel to each other as in the book, otherwise part II loses traction and surprise. The book is one of King's finest right behind Misery.
@@Recontramojado I agree with you about Part II, it certainly could've been better. The 90s miniseries was filmed well as you pointed out. I've yet to read "Misery" but look forward to doing so.
I still remember when i was purchasing the ticket to the movie and the guy at the counter said " Here, Take IT" in a creepy way and it was so perfect😂.
It's Kryssa's Life it’s ok it’s ok not everyone is gonna like something everyone is free to stand by their opinion endless you meant as in it’s scary so your not ready just know the first one was wish kids #IT could scare them easy now it’s adults and the director stated “ the sequel will be more dark and more serious
What most don’t realize is that #IT didn’t have to try very hard to scare kids . Now their adults so the level of scare will be next level more serious director stated “ wear your adult diapers” an “ the sequel will be more scary more serious less comedy”
Well now is 2021 and it came out in 2017. 4 years ago that's pretty long time. It's crazy thought that 2017 was 4 years ago I remember it like yesterday.
In any other person is out for a photo with drive suite in any case if it in town on your time in any way home or at your convenience we can do that we are important is in a great weekend too large or apartment is too large or apartment
Director Andy Muschietti kept Bill Skarsgård separate from the child actors up until they had to shoot scenes together. On the day of their first scenes together, the production staff warned the kids about how scary Skarsgård could be while in character. The kids brushed this off, claiming that they knew he was just an actor in a costume and that they were professionals and would be fine. However, when the time came for Skarsgård to be Pennywise for the scene, the kids were genuinely terrified.
I know about it. The kids only saw Bill as Pennywise during filiming due to which they were very terrified. Bill said that after shooting the scene with Jack, he asked him if he was okay to which Jack replied instead, "Love what you're doing with the character." which left Bill astonished.
As well as that, he acted like pennywise around the kids the whole time when he had the make-up on, not as in he wanted to eat them ofc but just eerie and creepy
Thank's, the Information are very helpful. The Georgis acctor was 8 or 9 years old in this time, could he watch the movie on TV or DVD? Because the film is limited, it has a FSK about at 16th age, I think... It' allowed to watch?
Man I remember when I thought this movie would be just another cash grab remake, but then as soon as I saw the movie opening night I ended up being surprised and actually really loved it
There was a theory that all the clown sightings was a subtle marketing campaign to build up tension for this movie's release. get everyone nice and terrified of clowns again
wow you will think anything is real... fyi they had nothing to report on in the news and all that was made up..... no for reals.... wow... want to buy land in florida? cheap... your a sheep.... no comment has made me want to shake someone like this one in along time... someone is so dumb they though killer clowns really where on the loose.. what...
In the novel, Pennywise comes to the town of Derry, Maine every 27 years to kill as many children/adults as possible. The original adaptation was released in 1990. How many years has it been since? I know. I'm shook too.
I'm not. Now that I know how awesome it looks, I want to save the rest for when I see the whole thing. And this...actually disturbed me...too much to want to see it again right now.
