A great voice... haunting and loving. This Hollywood Bowl tribute was incredible. Lacey is featured in The Grand Tour original cast recording.

I saw this live on TV when it was broadcast and was blown away. An amazing performance that did far more service to this song than the way it was sung in "Hello Dolly." Thank you for uploading it.

Absolutely LOVE her voice ans ths slower tempo and orchestral emphasis toward the end ( big ending). This is the way it should sung.

Rogharm, Thanks for the comment, but in this case you're mistaken. If you have the broadcast, you know that they introduce the performers at the very start of the show. Florence Lacey is introduced immediately after George Hearn - and this is her. If you have the DVD, the introduction is on track 1 at about 0:16.

in my opinion replacing what should be a higher note with a belt in a lower octave is not such a good idea. This song has potential to be much more lovely
