Laying here in bed and through the storms and trials going in in my life and my family one funeral of the young wife then her husband died that night now another service on Saturday but I'm here ti say it pays to serve Jesus no matter what continuous prayers for everyone hold on don't let go no matter what the payment from Jesus is the ultimate reward

This young man sang at my church, Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, Sunday (September 21) for Homecoming. He has aged like fine wine. His voice is still as powerful three years later. Phenomenal talent.

I wanted to click out at the first few minutes... because to me Oakwood is now so worldly, and more Catholic... but I stayed because of the comments. I am not disappointed! PRAISE GOD! The message is a sermon all by itself.
This is why the Adventist African American churches worship is soo wonderful because when we start Praise and Worship it is so hard to quench the joy and happiness! Happy Sabbath everyone!
When God has done something to and for you what else can you do but give Him praise. When Peter told the lame man in Acts 3 to "rise up and walk" the Word lets us know later that the lame man was now made whole and started "leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God." When the Great God has done something that I could not even do for myself (Acts 17:28) all I can do is leap, walk, and Praise my God for His faithfulness.
At 8:25 the choir sings again the reprise "Though the pathway to glory....." then the soloist is like a VOICE in the desert...reminding all Christians to NEVER ever compromise their FAITH in Jesus's power, imagine a time when you had to hold on through trials or think amd reflect on this song when you have to take a stand for the Lord..what awesome moments of renditions...Amen and Amen
