I know the coaches know what they are doing. The Manning family is comfortable how things are going but I can't wait to see Arch playing more. I watched Archie play, the followed Peyton and Eli now to watch Arch. I watch y'all all the time hoping to hear about Arch. I am learning a lot about other teams from y'all. Thanks!

Arch is awesome and I think he’ll go first overall when he goes pro but he’s the backup QB so we’re not going to discuss him a ton. Too many fans would take it as us pushing controversy. It’s Quinn’s team.

A recent On3 report ranked the top 10 defensive back rooms in college football, and Texas was not found in that group, so perhaps we should look at those criteria and then measure against those to get in the top 10 and excel in each point. When Texas ranks in top 3, we can take away the outside runs and the passing game of our opponent's just as we did the run game last year. Once we can do that, it is hard to imagine we are not perennial champions.

Texas had the 10th best safety room when On3 rated the safeties.

They need to get back to the defense and secondary like they had in the 2000's. Those were some great defenses and especially some great secondaries.

I am a Sooner fan so maybe my opinion is a little influenced, but what I saw in the spring game Texas defense looked awful

Unlike many players before him. Where he lacks in speed he makes up for by being in the right place at the right time, playing physical in the run game, and lining up his guys right. If you watched the spring game you’d see how much further along he is than his backups.
