It's 2024 and I've NEVER watched HEATHERS!! | "Beautiful" REACTION 

I second the Starkid request! Their musicals are so good, especially the Hatchetfield trilogy!

This is like my favourite cast of Heathers! I was actually in the invited audience when they filmed it, it was such a cool experience, I love all the changes for this version from off-broadway version (which is a broadly unpopular opinion in the Heather community haha!) I particularly like this cast because of how connected they all were; Ailsa (Veronica aka blue Heather) and Ben Karran (Beleaguered Geek who sang "What did I ever do to them?" at 8:17, and went on to take over for the role of JD later in the run) were, and still are, dating, as are Maddison Firth (Heather Chandler, red Heather) and Rory Phelan (Ram Sweeney, the first of the 2 jocks/bullies you meet in the song at about 3:10). And May Tether (Drama Club Drama Queen, Red curly hair with the denim jacket and flowery shorts) is on the current UK tour in the same role + covering Veronica, having left the show in February 2023, and rejoining for their West End run and tour in May! For the record Heather Chandler is red Heather, Heather McNamara is yellow Heather and Heather Duke is green Heather! Would love to see you react to more!

Yesss very excited for more heathers content. Also, if you haven't checked out Starkid Musicals, they have some fun ones; I love their Hatchetfield trilogy. It starts with "The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals" and the other two ( "Black Friday" and "Nerdy Prudes Must Die" ) take place in different realities. However it's still in the same town with references and some returning characters.

I would suggest litsening to the original cast recording they change songs in the thing your watching vs the original show

Can't wait for you to get further into Heathers. There's a rather important character that hasn't shown up yet and I can't wait for you to meet them (won't spoil who it is or their gender).

Oh, you are in for a *trip*. My first exposure to Heather's was via the musical soundtrack, and there was a particular song where I just went, "Wait, what? What just happened now?" that changed it from a simple high school musical into something way more.

I def prefer the og cast, just think their voice and delivery are better for the characters, the costumes aren't great as the og ones showed the personalities of the heathers, they switched up the songs, and the production feels too high, like weirdly professional compared to the charming off broadway

When I'm also a new Heathers fan and I get recommended recent Heathers stuff that aren't from 5-7 years ago

Basically the colours on the Heathers symbolise different things: Red - Heather Chandler, shows her power over everyone else Green - Heather Duke, shows her envy towards Chandler Yellow - Heather McNamara, shows her timid personality compared to the others Blue - Veronica Sawyer, shows how she is a more thoughtful person than the Heathers.

Please, don't stop reacting to this. It's one of my favourites (along with Hamilton). The story is so good. It starts off so calm lmao and then one song comes up and you just go "wait what? what the fuck just happened"

there's this belgian musical called 14-18, its about WW1 and they have in my opinion the best musical opener ever. There are two versions but I'd sudgest the one from 2014. It's honestly the definition of what musical theater is suposed to be.

Heathers is my main hyperfixation its literally my life. I HIGHLY reccomend listening to the off broadway cast recording of it its so much more netter IN. MY. OPINION.

Idk what pro-shots you've already seen, but besides this and Hamilton, Come From Away, Everybody's Talking About Jamie, and SpongeBob SquarePants are all worth a look.

Let's appreciate that for a first time viewing a proshoot is really dope, i know lots of people dislike this version (I was won over by Veronica's wonderful blue eyes what a casting choice lol) but you can always check out the off-broadway songs later after you get what is going on :D Also proshoots in general, can't we get more of those, I beg, not everyone has the opportunity to go watch the show and also ofc I want to watch musicals at home again too
