Accuracy for the M60AX can be brought down to .10

I usually hold on to the lowest tier tank of each era in CW, and the M1 is no exception, it can hold its own against tanks one or two tiers higher than itself. I am currently grinding out the M1A1, but I don’t think I’ll bother with the M1A2 for the moment. The only reason I sold my Chieftain 11 after grinding it out was its lack of speed compared to the follow on Challengers. The Type 88A is so good that I’m not going to bother with the follow-on Type 85-I, as it doesn’t offer anything more than its predecessor. Keep up the good work, mate. 👍

It’s rare for most tanks to feel nice stock, and I reckon the M1 is one of them

This is a great tank. The only problem is the normal pen. The lower plate of t72s cannot be penned apart from the weakpoint and the tank really struggles against leopards. Otherwise a good camo and gun build will be insane. I will say though with a good equipment setup you actually get the 72kmh max speed in the m1a2. Personally I prefer the a2 but I’m grinding to buy this tank once again

Great tank, my first Era3 tank and I had a huge sigh of relief after grinding through the terrible M60s in Era2 (pre the M60A2) - went full on ramming build with the Abrams line and bullied the T-72s... kind of forgot about it as Era3 gameplay went stale quite quickly back then (pre any other lines, lights, atgms). Might go back and revisit this one

Just got this tank now and have to say WOW my 1st game was 8k damage with 1600 assist, got my dpm down to 4.23 seconds reload for over 6700dpm, only problem I found on that game was when you frontally went against the M1A1 and M1A2 the premium 493mm of pen on the stock gun bounced 100% of the time, only time I pen them is when they gave me their sides, so I'm looking forward to unlocking the upgraded gun eventually.

When I first got the m1 there was only t72s and it got bullied hard. Since then it's had a buff and we have a lot more variety in era3 so I can see why the DPM would be an advantage. I forgot about the cool skins ,I'm going to re buy the m1. Great video 👍

M60 ax used the same gun so if you own it don’t really need the m1 so i sold mine, it was good though

I believe the US Army upgraded the M1 to the M1A1 just prior to Desert Storm to give the tank the 120mm smoothbore cannon. I do not believe any stock 105mm Abrams were used. The Marines were still using their upgraded (ERA covered) M60A3's in 1991.

I grinded out this one in a single day and got the M1A1, which is even better!

It’s all crazy for me a warthunder player seeing a game were an APFSDS doesn’t enter the front of your teeth, head canoe, somebody and then exit the rear.

I agree I find the M1 more enjoyable to play than the M1A2 so I will be buying it again.😃

I like this tank just wanted to say, is it me or does the M1 engine, sound like a washing machine on spin cycle? 🤔Maybe thats where they got sound effect? Lol

A bottom tier of era 3 that can compete to tanks two tiers higher than it, this is one of the reasons you should grind the American line. I enjoyed the M1, one marked it within 50 games. This has to be the best bottom tier era 3 heavy, in my opinion.

I must say the M1 is a good tank, the issue I had with it was the armor and penetration values.. back in the earlies Going up against T-72BU's was a task with this tank.. I have marks on all my abrams sadly I sold this one to buy the A1.

Meanwhile Rikki is only firing premium rounds….bc there is SOMETHING the M1 greatly lacks! The abrams line is nerfed as a whole bc of the game overmatch mechanics…. In the game the leopard line is light years better than Abrams line in every measure

thats all very. Well riki. But dont you earn , much more silver in the M1A2.. Iv played the M1. and M1A2. For me personally. I prefer. the M1A2, the frontal armour way.. Is superior, You. Know what think,i think ?your new to M1A2, you havent give it enough time. Your an excellent Player,you need to give it. More time, riki. !? Learn to really appreciate The armour , and way better handling.. It. will become much better.just need time .
