It's a Cold Water Shave with All Things Cella

This time around, since the weather is warming up a bit (it's bound to get cold again, even with some snow, as April is unpredictable), we're dong a cold water shave. for this shave, we're using Cella Aloe shave soap and finishing it off with Cela after shave splash and after shave balm.

HI Mark. Great cold water shave. I love using cold water to shave, in the Summertime. I use the Proraso menthol ( green ) pre-shave and the Proraso menthol ( green ) shaving cream. Then to finish off, I use Fine Snake Bite aftershave ( absolutely lush ) Propper wake up call for the morning. Also great for the evening as well. Take care Mark.

Hi Mark, I've tried a cold shave and not a huge fan. However, I do like to use cold water for the razor itself. I find that refreshing enough. I have a tub of the Cella Red. The smell straight from the jar is a bit too cherry for me. It does soften a lot once whipped into a lather. Cold you please describe the smell of the Cella Green.

I rinse my razor under cold water all year round but always prefer warm lather. Think warm lather helps soften my beard better and I like the feel of a cold razor.

I grew up in northern Indiana, a fairly cold climate and now for 24 years live in a hot climate. A cold water shave should be welcome but I've tried them and don't like them. Still a nice shave though.

I had this red cream and it can not lather, you can move a brush for minutes and this cream just can not make lather. Maybe I could try this soap one day.

@@michadomeracki5910it's a rapid cream (ITA: crema rapida). It's not made for lathering. You just apply it directly to your face.

Here in AZ as it gets up to a 100 the cold water becomes non existent. Even during the coolest hour in the morning the cold water is hot. It a sad paradox we only have cold water during the cooler months when you don't need it and during the climax of the summer when your dreaming of a cold shower its gone.
