Wow....Re notch-height, and "taller opening means the wood is more committed to the fall-direction when the notch closes, preventing/reducing any inaccuracies" F'ing LOVE it man!! When someone puts words to something you kinda know "by feel", damn man it was a treat watching this (Oh and "ermagerd....your notch is >25% deep!1!" lol ;D ) Will readily admit that, being away from RU-vid and from other fallers, I now realize consciously just how shallow my notches have become, seeing that beautiful notch at the end, man I wish I had a good pic of the too-shallow notch I did on an Oak on Monday, I *finished* the back-cut and it wouldn't fall - did pinch my bar though - ended up taking its tagline and attaching it to my hitch & pulling it over, thank god that was an option!!!

Look at you two handing it in the bundle real time. Good for you. X) Bundles at beginning would've what? Broken redirect and/or been nearly impossible to maneuver at bottom? Just checking. I know it's not realistic but...still.. Is the new kit's slings rated higher. I use them all the time for pretty heavy duty work with the first generation you designed. love bundling. Use them for tops sometimes instead of x ring slings. If I want more surface area I add a carabineer for friction thickness. (Within reason obviously on the top size. But not tiny always. Just saying. Thinking of getting the new ones, prefer the trip lock though. More versatile for multipurpose use. First kit was well worth the money, use it all the time. Almost daily, thank you for designing it and getting it out to us)

What y’all do takes guts. And patience. It’s sort of like the tree gives you permission to take it down IF ..... I F .....You Do It Right. I’ve watched videos where people take the tree down -or try to - and don’t do it right. Disaster is an understatement. You’re not only working ON the trees, but WITH them. Y’all bring them down right. LOVE the camera work. It’s like being there.

Do you have to climb on the roof and use a leaf blower on the debris, or just wait for wind/gravity to make it slide off later? I don't usually get bothered by heights in trees, but the slipperiness, steep angles, and lack of a harness makes climbing up on a roof a bit scary.

Because you live in such a beautiful area and have an office with the best of views doesn't it suck bringing it down all the time? If I was up there I wouldn't get much work done. You had a very attentive audience so I'm guessing you gained a few potential customers. Thanks for letting us tag along and for the great photography.
