I got my hands on the new Canon R50 to review and test. So i decided to put it through its paces with a street photography sesh to see how it could handle the fast-paced action of Perth City! Enjoy!
This is the only channel that posted a video about the R50 using a good photo. It sounds so simple but I don't trust reviewers who can't even take a good photo for a thumbnail to know jacksh*t about photography. Good review, mate.
Wow that’s such an awesome comment and feedback. Thanks so much man, I try to put a lot of effort into reviews and really test out the gear to give honest feedback and tips. Thank you again
That’s awesome man! Let me know what you think of it! Tbh I think both kit lenses are great, have your wide and your mid to close up range to cover pretty much any style of photography and perfect for beginners. I had no issue with them besides the high f stop. Thanks for the feedback man, truly appreciate it and glad you liked the vid 🙏🏻
Hi! Nice presentation and interesting shots! I watched because I'm thinking about such an apsc camera. I photograph with old analog cameras and I need a breath of fresh air :D However, I have 2 lenses for full frame EF (50mm stm and 40mm stm) I read that I will need an adapter. (someday probably some rf would buy). I guess it would be possible to put it together at the beginning ...? You know your stuff, I can see things 😎 Regards :)
Thank you so much for watching and I’m so glad you found it interesting and helpful! Yep you will need a adaptor for it to use the EF lenses. I use one for it and my R5 I’m slowly switching over to RF glass instead of using EF but you will be fine using EF glass to begin with 🙂 thank you again for watching and the support!
I have a Canon 5D Mark III paired with a 100mm lens. I also have a Canon Rebel T7 paired with a 24-105mm zoom lens. I am saving up for a Canon R100 as that camera will be my first mirrorless camera purchased as new. Both my 5D Mark III, and T7 I bought used.
R50 Helped me save money & for the ones tripping about lenses.. I don’t see how you can’t be satisfied with at least 4 main lenses or less 😂😍.. def a good way to work your way up & invest in
I have the M50 and went with a R50 because of all the new features it offers over the M50 series, If you plan on using the native lens for the M series, it is going to let you down as the m series has been discontinued. So the only lenses available are what is out already or using a EF to M adapter and using the ef/ef-s lens
M50 has been discontinued and replaced by the new and improved R50. You-tube has a lot of information about the R camera and all though the R line has limited lenses and so is the M. The market is full of adapters that make it easy to use old lenses.😅😅😅
I’ve read everywhere that it’s perfect for content creators, but can I use it just for photography? Are the photos good? Because I want my camera to have a flipscreen and this does, but I’m really stressed because I won’t be vlogging or creating content, I just want to take photos and start my photography journey..
It’s terrible to hold the grip on the front is so small you can’t bend your fingers around it . Go and see it in shop if you can before purchasing it .
I guess it comes down to what you’re looking out for in a camera and how it fits your shooting style and flow. I would dare say the R10 has better image and video quality atleast than the R50 but I’d have to look up the specs
Picked this up to look at it in shop the grip is terrible . My fingers aches after only a couple of minutes trying to grip the front . The R10 is better to grip in the hand . I’d actually prefer the M50 to live with and shoot with . The R50 is nearly £900 in the uk it’s a shame they let it down on construction
