in 1945 my family was coming to California on freight trains , We got sidetracked and found ourselves in Corpus Cristie Texas , My sister got sick and had to be hospitalized a few days , in the same room was a little girl named Ida may Gabbard , she had been burned real bad , when we left they still didn't know if she would live or not , fast forward 20 years , I was in Oklahoma and met a guy named bob , He decided to come to Cali with me , we got to my Moms house in Modesto Ca , Sitting at the kitchen table my mom asked bob what his last name was , he said Gabbard , so she started telling him about little Ida may , he said "That is my oldest sister and Yes she lived and raised a family , After all those years my Mom learned little Ida May lived

All the children in the world as we are all Heavenly father's children in the name of Jesus we are very blessed with the love the unconditional love that heavenly father has for us and what we feel within us has no judgment for anything! We are all one together we are all sisters and brothers and we will all see each other and know each other in heaven when we all are in eternity and that to me is miraculous and I am so proud and happy to be a part of such a beautiful plan and I trust it and I know that I want to share as much as I can for every heart and soul for every tear that falls for every struggle for every lost for every frustration I always have had any emotional spirit that feels so deeply and I want to pray for all of us and if you are reading this right now in this moment I thank you for your agreeing with me in prayer, Our dear heavenly father I love you and I thank you 4 your unconditional love for your son Jesus Christ Our Savior and I come to you through your son Jesus Christ and say thank you for our every breath that we take and thank you that for every day that we wake may we all be appreciative of what we do have and not make it about us but make it about what can we do to help build our Heavenly father's Kingdom with all hearts and souls on this Earth and let us always be guided and remember that we are guided with unconditional love with the gifts of the holy spirit with discernment and we are God's children we are loved and I pray miraculous peace that passes all understanding in the name of Jesus and thank you again as I go through some struggles I know we all do in the world and greater is he who is in me and I will continue to walk in faith and stand Spirit strong and through the worst of physical and emotional pain that hits me out of nowhere because of my terminal illnesses I will still say I love you I thank you I praise you and I do not receive anything within my heart that is not of my heavenly father in the name of Jesus and I will trust and continue to believe in the plan of heavenly father's will for all of us through all we are here for on this Earth and when we are all in eternity protect us all as Angels around us in that miraculous feeling and even if we don't feel it we know we can walk by faith and thank my faith and believe by faith using Faith as a verb and put it into action and no weapons formed against us shall prosper we have so many ways that we can talk to you and I'm thankful that I can speak and I can hear and I can see and that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. When I was little there was a woman of color who told me that she was my mammy and she loved me. Like most children, I knew that she truly did love me and I loved her. When my mother explained signs saying colored only was talking about people like my beloved mammy. I realized that these things were pretty bad and I was introduced to segregation. I did not like it at all and could not understand why things were that way. Even worse this was during the 1940s and the Klum Klum Klan was very active around me. This was hard on me an I hated hearing about all the horable things being done to people of color. My love for this woman has led me to try to make things better especially for the children. I went back to school in my 70s so I could teach in disadvantaged school in the Mississippi delta so I could give those children the love I had been given.

And when and if you can somehow take that person with his taught hate and get them together with the one they think they hate, let's say forced upon them, and have no choice but to befriend and depend on that one they think they hate ... Like the lion with a thorn in its foot, and has to let a human help it and remove the thorn... Well that thorn,is sin.evil running rampid comes in all sizes. This world has good, and the opposite of good is bad. I know that sounds simple, but we will always have evil in this world until Jesus comes back to retake his thrown... Loved the King story! Shows the love of God at work. The second story brought back memories. My single aunt got pregnant at age 18 in a small town in Saskatchewan, in the 50's. She came out to the west to stay with our family for 5 months, had the baby, gave it up for adoption, went back to Saskatchewan. 27 years later I was there when she saw her son for the first time since birth, and it was amazing! They had the exact same mannerisms, the same smile, the same facial expressions, the same humor, they sat in the same way, they spoke in the same way, and I was stunned! They looked and acted like twins, only 27 years difference. You'd think that having been raised by totally different parents, he'd have had their mannerisms and characters, but no. He was the exact duplicate of his mother. 33 years later I am still amazed by it. He has since gotten married, had a family, and is still in contact with his mom.

King Brooks and Walter Smith... These men should be the template that we all use to improve and begin to repair the hurt, damage, anger, and divide that seems to only be getting worse in these current times. We are all fighting the injustices in the worst ways possible today, causing a divide, rather than a unity. Tiny seeds. Good seeds. Love. Trust. Respect. Tolerance. These things sown from both sides of any issue will produce the best results. This story is proof. And it is only one story of so many that happened so long ago. Let us all learn that anger, hate, fear, and revenge will accomplish nothing but a much larger divide. Let us learn from the past. There are many people from bygone eras that can teach us how to get back on that path to healing. The path to love, peace, and togetherness. I love stories like Mr. Brooks' and Mr. Smith's. Please let us look back to learn how to move forward. ~Peace!

I was raised in a family that was truly full of prejudice...but God had put a special love in my heart for all people...when I left home at 18, life led me to places where diversity was accepted, and I fell in love for people of all races... and learned that all people are God’s children and skin color had nothing to do with it. I thank Jesus Christ for putting real love in my heart to this very day...all lives matter...love does not see color, it sees hearts.

I got as you can imagine, in alot of trouble for not agreeing with my mother's life phylosophy. Never have... never will.... Awesome memories of the past.. a lesson we've all needed to share know and abide by because my father raised us to be thankful... as he reminded us through his upbringing & religious teachings...My dad also was WWII vet returning with friendships from many walks of life.. around the world. His philosophy in life was...if you make a mistake "in life" apologize and correct it; if you see someone who needs help "you help them" no matter where they have been or come from. Lastly if you owe a "buck" pay it. Always tell the truth. My dad always help people in need setting good example. After work fixing electronics for some of the families that couldn't afford it buying groceries remembering he grew up poor not always having food clothes or shoes until adopted by an Aunt. I can still remember him saying: ALWAYS LOOK CLEAN PRESENTABLE The Army/Airforce regarded him as a Great American for Freedom. My mother was also a great person being married over 63 years eventually passing at 86yrs respectively. They were known for their many acts of kindness. My children and Grandchildren have been thought these Same lessons in from the bible. I'm very humble and thankful of what my parents have taught me and expected of me leaving the nest and having to be independent. We miss them and glad they are not suffering but would be happy just to hug us all. Respect was Paramount.

Thank you Walter and King for showing us what real love looks like! 💖 I'm still looking for my grade 4 teacher who made a big difference in my life. Someday I hope to meet her and see the beautiful smile that I remember so well! Maybe I should write it down and see what happens..

Thx, for reminding us that God has never stopped His miracles. This episode brought tears to my eyes, better than any fantasy story. May God continue to provide investors for such positive productions. *$*.

Great tear jerker ...I m also was adopted as a baby.. I have a wonderful family God do loving placed me in. At 26 I was given a note by Mom with info on my bio mom. The crazy thing I found that my "families" lived in same small town in Iowa...my grandmas hung out together ..I have aunt's that can pass for sisters my gmas mom and my sat had twin look likes in my birth family! My mom's went to school together my bio is always mistaken for my mom. High school pic are crazy too the only difference is bio mom has glasses! It has been roller coaster ride for the last 33 yrs at times I wish I never found her. But it does explain some never get a straight answer from her.. I just thank God daily for the family He so richly blessed me with!!!!! When I had my girls I wonder how could walk away from.......

Yes not all r blessed with loving homes this is true my mom(adopted mom's) Little sisters were adopt out Yes one was abused no one wood believe her cuz he was pillar of the town. Other one was emotional abuse by her mom ..one had half way desent life . One had adusive hubby added onto.. mom and her 2:brothers were adopted by their step dad he would have adopted whole family. Yes this does happen but these kids had a mom with questionable behaviors. Leaving the oldest home alone with 4,3,2 and newborn with 5 year old child in charge! Life is interesting ..I have meet all of mom's sisters and grew up with my unkle.. they (girls) told me at mom funeral All what she did to keep them safe started at age of five!!! Mom cryed for years for her sister s.... She recalls they were lined up acorded to age mom was 12 she told her mom don't do nothing til I'm back home ( she was hired out for week to work.,) She came home no little sisters no brother(2) mom house empty. She was 12 yrs old. Sad

And I’m going to pray that exactly that will happen. Ivette, I want you to know that just by reading an Internet post you have made an impact on my life. You are a beautiful soul!

What wonderful life experiences .....king Brooks has the right state of mind.no color should matter,i always told my children when you slice the skin what color do you see,.red.... the blood is red whether your skin yellow, white, blue, purple or black when you cut the skin is red so everyone has the same color ..the Blood of Jesus flows through every person,,animal etc etc etc veins.so people need to treat people the way you would treat your own mother
