I'm thinking about Colourpop Stranger Things, but the rest is a pass. For awhile I was buying every Bellabeautebar palette that released, then they just started releasing too often and I lost interest. I was thinking about the Vamp palette, but I'll just wait a few weeks and see what's next. I think really it's just that I didn't so long buying every palette from so many brands that I have all the colors somewhere or another. 🤣 So Stranger Things and Underland are the two recent releases/almost released that in excited for. Which is nice, my bank account and I are getting along better than ever. 😂😂
I remember back in the early 2000s, (I’m almost 43) after I stopped hitting the beauty counter at Macy’s for Mac single eyeshadows, and experienced my first Sephora I think my first single shadow there was midnight cowboy by urban decay. I wouldn’t usually buy single eyeshadows but i did just pick up the emerald eyes and cosmic rocks from Charlotte Tilbury that are back, I was so crushed that they were sold out last year. I’m not really big on CT, I think the products look like cheap old Hollywood packaging. And not wild about the little multicolored stones on the packaging but I love the colors. And got a first time buyer 15 percent off coupon.
I also saw the puddin mask on Sephora, I pick up a few things from them when Ulta doesn’t have them, but Sephora is like a toxic ex for me. Been shopping there since I was very early 20s and they’ve just gone down hill so hard since covid. But you’re making me want to try it…
I purchased the stranger things palette because the color story is adorable. I haven't watched the show but I can tell it was well done from what I've seen about it. I am holding off on everything else and waiting for the Einsley reign palette releasing Tuesday!
Ulta brand has the bouncy singles as a dupe for the UD toppers. I am curious about the elf release. I love singles for something extra. But, I have to set them out, or I just grab a palette.
I have one full-size Lawless eyeshadow palette and three minis. The formula is okay. It's not bad, but also nothing special. My eyes prefer talc-free shadow, so there's that. I do love their glosses too! As far as single shadows, I have a HUGE Sydney Grace collection ( two double-sided palettes plus more). Those are the only ones I reach for on a regular basis.
I kinda have to laugh about the Harley Quinn and Joker collection because it came out in Germany/EU around sping time. Surprising seeing it released now in the US. I have the Harley Sponge and joker cheek brush and really like them (especially the brush) but the actual makeup products really did not make sense to be added into my collection.
Is it me or does the BBB Vamp Palette look like their Roses and Violet palette (I can’t remember their names exactly) 😊had a child??? And I think one of the Lawless glosses in the little trio is a new shade - Bitten?

I’m generally not into the IP collaborations. There are many times I don’t even know what the IP is. I know about hello kitty but was it a cartoon or a movie first?! I don’t know where she came from. 💛🌻
Thanks for staying on top these. New releases are coming thick and fast. It’s hard to keep up and hard to separate the “musts haves” from the “nice to haves”. I can’t say I NEED anything.

I’m pretty tired of IP collabs. More often than not (lately), they feel like either a cash grab or just a collab for the sake of saying they did a collab.
More often than not, I feel like the palettes that are inspired by something, but not so specifically derivative, are much more interesting. Nomad, Ensley Reign, Gourmand Girls, and so many others do this so well.
I'm a huge Stranger Things fan, but I've been skipping new-release videos lately and didn't know about this! I don't like blue shadow on myself, so I won't get the palette, but the lip mask could be fun. I wish there were a makeup bag or mirror, though. I'm interested to see someone test out the new elf shadows, but I like the two deeper colors. There might be something in the Hello Kitty collection, but they're ubiquitous - you can buy a decent Hello Kitty Lip Smacker gloss already - so it's not particularly special.
😊Happy Saturday! Your make up releases series is my fav on YT. I kinda want the glosses from CP 😅they look fun!! I do like mixing liquid highlighter into my foundations and primers so maybe that one would be nice.... I love red eyeshadows soooo the BBB looks very intriguing! I love purples too ...but lately their prices have been too high for me. Oh a shimmer balm from ELF ☺️I love that!!! I had one from MAC and used it up completely. Definitely interested in the Catrice and Essence Dory & Up. They have lose powder blushes, liquid eyeliners, highlighters, lip tints and few other things I want to try. The make up bags look really cute too. Essence and Catrice do bring out high quality dupes of luxury formulas rather frequently, most of their gel to powder, baked and liquid formulas are impressively high performing so I usually don't worry that I would get a bad product.
The Chaos cosmetics multi chrome lips are not sticky or glossy and IMHO can be used elsewhere on the face. These look interesting but the glossiness makes me wary as it really forces you to only use it on lips.
I’ve only ever been into 2 ip collabs… Glamlite & Strawberry Shortcake because I could smell the little dolls just seeing the launch pictures and the Wet N Wild Peanuts Christmas launch Again from when I was really little and could only seeing Christmas movies on tv right before Christmas. Otherwise I just don’t have any attachments to most things.
Not into IP’s at all. Although if you’ve ever seen Waiting For Guffman, you will know that there are those of us still wanting the Remains of the Day lunchbox.
Honestly prefer that when a company does a collab, that it's more curated than most of those drugstore ones. That said, the Stranger Things collection is interesting. I'd prefer not to have "mood" products, but all in all, it's well done.
Hi Rachel. Love your makeup! Stunning. I like the looks of the ND Lip masks. Lisa did a fabulous job on her anniversary kit. The Elf Glitters look like pressed shimmer shadows. They're pretty. I'd definitely try it. I love single shadows for a one and done look. The Lawless palette is gorgeous. And I have their gloss. So good. I'm with you on the Fenty lip products The best. The Plush Puddin! I'd pass on the Catrice and Essence products. Nothing great on the Hello Kitty products. I'm not into IP collaborations. Thanks Rachel. ❤❤
