Since the judge realized what they were doing it would not affect Ross. And Ben was in the next episode (well his name was lol) so he wasn’t forgotten!
@@sarasamaletdin4574 Obviously I meant, if the judge HAD believed it. And different writers wrote these episodes. But in any case, my post was clearly half a joke :) Not that serious.
The BEST line in the series. “I am just going to write ‘what were you thinking’!” “Oh I was just going to cross the hall and write that on Chandler!” 😂😂😂😂 Such a funny episode.
She was so great. Did you ever watch Hearts Afire with John Ritter, Markie Post, Billy Bob Thornton (later also Leslie Jordan).. rip most of that cast. 😢 but great show. She was in seasons 2 and 3.
Rachel's behavior is absolutely appalling. She has the nerve to insult Monica and her fiancé, despite Monica's kindness and generosity towards her. Monica took Rachel in and provided her with a place to stay, and this is how Rachel repays her? Not only did Rachel not invite Monica to her wedding, but she also had the audacity to invite herself to live with Monica, and then asked her to participate in insurance fraud. Rachel's actions are truly shameless.
Fun fact: David Schwimmer directed episode 6, first of 10 episodes directed by him in the series. That moment between Ross and Rachel is so heartwarming but also sad and frustrating. It's so clear they still love each other but neither of them come right out and say it. Btw, in S5E11 Ross said that his New Years resolution was to have just one divorce (with Emily), so he broke it. Joey is right, Porche is pronounced as "Por-shuh". Also, Matt LeBlanc would actually own a couple of them when he became the new host for BBC's Top Gear in 2016. And Joey saying "the only thing I'm gonna miss is YOU" hits so much harder after Matthew's passing 💔
I don’t think she was forgotten, but she was invented so Rachel would not move in with her immediately. And now she is leaving because the writers want them to live together. And I think Pheobe maybe made her up, it’s very Pheobe. Maybe she was just skeptical if she wanted to live with Rachel
Got a new, sports car recently. (nothing too fancy), and immediately had people check it out, take pictures, ask me questions. Felt nice, because people were sharing in my excitement of getting it. But yeah, 3 weeks later - it's just my car, the novelty is gone. The only thing that re-ignites it is having it professionally washed.
have you noticed the big change in Chandler, though? The way he speaks or how much he uses physical comedy changes DRASTICALLY after he starts dating Monica. In the same way, Monica stops being so... "motherly" as she was previously.
The only person who was somewhat "supportive" of chandler and monica was joey. Ross hated the idea of his best friend and his sister, rachel has said alot of stuff about their relationship that most of the time wasnt even positive and Phoebe has said on multiple occasion that monica should have done better than settling for Chandler. And honestly i agree.
The writers should have continued longer to have Rachel either be in dark about the annulment or have an excuse for them to stay married longer (like if Ross sold her to the presents). That was a fun plot and I think more comedy and drama could have been taken from the scenario. Ross admitting his feelings accidentally is a big deal. But maybe it was too difficult for this plot to continue without Ross looking too bad or there be a good reason for them to stay married
I used to have a Pontiac Grand Prix GtP (year 1996), big nice hood with a fine v6 motor with a beautiful sound), it felt good cruising in it and people kind of knew it was me coming because it was a quite unique car, but it was mostly fun when I was young, u grow up from defining urself with things.. never found myself trying the cardboardbox trick afterwards 🙂 Chandler hustling Joey to give him money with the "cup game" is funny but then going to hustle money back from Ross is priceless 🤣
Can we just take a minute and acknowledge how insane it is for Ross, the successful, middle class Doctor, to take over $1000 from Joey, whom he knows is struggling. Wtf Ross.
Maybe he doesn’t fully realize Joey’s money issues when Chandler was always playing for him. Ross and Monica are also so competitive that they can’t just loose any game
@@sarasamaletdin4574 I mean Ross was there when Joey had his money problems after he moved out of Chandler's in season 2. But I also don't think Ross was trying to be a dick.
It's always bothered me that when Chandler and Monica wanted to move in together, that Monica told Rachel "no rush" in getting a new place, but then.. basically made her feel like she had to rush, to the point that she was freaking out that she could literally be homeless when things were falling through in the past few episodes trying to find a roommate. And now she's freaking out that she hasn't packed yet? Like.. sure, Rachel saying she'd be packed by a certain day is fine, but being like "You haven't packed yet????" when she isn't on that day feels.. weird. Like.. there's still an empty room. There's no reason Rachel couldn't have stayed there until she found a secure place to go, either her own apartment or with a roommate who didn't have another roommate coming back soonish (Phoebe's "roommate Denise coming back in Dec"). I guess I never understood the problem of all 3 of them being roommates until Rachel was actually secure and ready to go and it bothered me. :\ It wouldn't have really impacted Chandler and Monica living together that much.
Honestly I think it was just the time period. At that time it would have been considered weird for 3 people in their late 20’s/early 30’s to share an apartment.
@@honeysuckledreamz true, but that was temporary for only a few episodes and he would have been homeless otherwise. That was more of an emergency situation with no warning. Rachel has known for a few episodes now that Chandler and Monica will be living together.
6:20 Crack is ABSOLUTELY able to be used intravenously. Source: experience. I've been clean almost 3 years but I can state with certainty... Ross is BIG wrong.
Correct, the writers completey destroyed Chandler. It's so sad to see Mathew Perry was not in his prime during the later seasons of Friends, otherwise the story could have been completely different.
...but, i can put my legs behind my head? Easy peasy! Im *insanely* out of shape. Is it just something that some people can do and others cant? Like rolling your tongue?
Flexibility is different to being in shape. I'm also very flexible and can put my head behind my head despite being out of shape. In a way its like rolling your tongue but its more of a sliding scale
Hey man, I've been watching you for quite some time. Why don’t you try reacting to some Indian movies. 3 IDIOTS is a good starter. It's one of the best movies there is
I legit kinda hate Rachel this season, these episodes are especially bad for that. Shes somehow more spoiled and selfish than she was at the beginning of the series. Shes constantly causing problems and starting fights and other characters suffer from them while she gets away scot-free or even rewarded.
@@Rash23215 no? Hes not the greatest his season either, but atleast Ross gets consequences for his actions unlike Rachel. And most of the problems he causes are for himself.
@@Visual_Gene um...the main couple i would say is mondler. i waited for season 4 finale haha and i watch for nick. and i guess r&r are realistic but so are all the other relationships
I don't like these episodes that much :/. Ross is more creepy than ever, Rachel is so selfish and a bad friend to Monica and Chandler, Joey is getting more and more stupid... but it's normal. I'ts hard for a comedy show to be perfect all the time.
really??? I thought these episodes were the best! Why do you think Rachel is selfish? I think it's just an overreaction to them having to part ways. And why do you think Ross is creepy?
Monica literally kicking Rachel out when her bf is moving in even though there's an empty room, even when she didn't have a stable place to go... is what's freakin' selfish.
@@LeonC0704 but isnt it amazing that when Rachel ran from her wedding and had no future, the only stability she found was Monica and that apartment - now she had to move out and step into he next independent stage of life - so proud of Rachel's evolution and achievement
Ok, yall are right!! It’s not selfish the word (not in this episode) but she is really mean to Mónica about no one interesting calling her and also insulting her relationship with Chandler like if it would be embarrasing to be with him! That was too far
