Analytics say to switch when there is a dissymmetry between the things you are selecting (e.g 2 goats and a sports car behind 3 doors). Here everything is equal and switching means nothing. If you here hunting for the lowest jersey instead of highest, would it make sense to switch still? Love the channel fellas

@@Sylix11 that’s the concept of multiple choices effecting the outcome which in itself isn’t proven to have any basis anyway. It’s not a 50/50 choice. This is like the math problem in first grade “Brian flips a coin 10 times, if it landed on heads the first 9 times, what are the odds it lands on heads again” it’s 50/50 no matter what way you look at it

It’s not 50/50. The odds of you picking the gold piece at the start is 10%. Which obviously means the odds of it being anywhere else is 90%. So when you narrow it down to 2 left it is statistically better to switch. Coin flips are independent events, not comparable to something like this where there is elimination and the data set is constantly changing

Explain to me exactly how the “odds are better” that it’s in the other one. And when you can’t, explain to me exactly what those odds are percentage wise, please
