Nice tune! Have you used the rytm mk1 by any chance? I'm considering buying one of these 2 and trying to figure out which one will be better/more fun. Clearly the rytm will be more feature packed being 10 years newer but these korgs seem really playable!

Hey, thanks! Good question, I haven't used a rytm but I do have a Digitakt. I found the EMX-1 easier to learn but I prefer the Digitakt since getting over the learning curve. Rytm might be a bit more of a challenge to get used to but I'm sure you'd have fun with either. I think the rytm mk1 is probably the better instrument / more powerful. Have you considered Syntakt? I haven't used one but it looks the most like a modern EMX-1 of anything available right now. Hope that helps!
