Hey guys, I hope you all had a lovely weekend?
I had a working day on Friday and I just felt like vlogging it, so here we are :)
I had a meeting for work in town, had a little mosey around Anthropologie (which is seriously dangerous this time of year!) for a babyshower gift and a candle to pop in my christmas gift guide (coming soon!).
The rest of the day was spent sorting out MaggsLondon stuff, making a Christmas flat-lay (I couldn't resist), planning my giftguide blog and video, somehow managed to get into a christmas toddler haul (lol), food shopping and of course picking up my little boy from his day at nursery.
Things got a bit silly when I said goodbye as I'd made my hot toddy a little too strong- in my defence it was a Friday haha!
I hope you're all beginning to feel as festive as me!

i've been a subscriber since just before you gave birth to grayson. i love watching him grow and seeing how chatty he is really warms my heart. i love the little conversations you guys have. thanksgiving is coming up and i work with kids so this whole month we say out loud what we're thankful for and i just want to share that i'm thankful for you guys and sharing these wonderful moments you have with this wonderful little boy 😊

I have such long hair which gets tangled all the time but the 'Tangle Teezer' hairbrush has been a god send! I recommend it to everyone, I would be lost without it now!

I lost a baby in 2013 and afterwards I was so obsessed with getting pregnant again and it's all I could think about. I threw myself into Christmas that year like you are doing this year..I got pregnant the week of Christmas and my little Alexander was born. September '14. :) Hopefully the same happens for you.

We also lost a baby. Well, the hospital said it was "non-viable" After coming to terms with it, I confided what had happened to my mother and she said that she had also had the same thing happen to her when she was young. And I thought exactly the same thing as you said Hannah, why do people never talk about this? It seems that this is a lot more common than people think but it's never talked about. Now I understand why some people are wary about saying anything to family or friends until they are several months into the pregnancy

The Bashford Bunch I went through years of fertility treatments. When I get pregnant I would loose the pregnancy. Finally after 11 IUI's and 3 IVF's and the pregnancy losses I needed s break. We were physically and emotionally exhausted. Our reproductive endocrinologist told us we had a 1% chance of getting pregnant on our own. Well a few months later we did. It was a rough pregnancy but we have our son who named Chance (we gave him a middle name) it was important to remember our Doctor wasn't God. And though it was his job he took my hope. We went on to have another son 2.5 years later. And then a later in life surprise who is now only 5. I'm sharing my story because I think even in 2017 we still don't share our pregnancy losses and when we do the thoughtless comments are just that thoughtless. There is no need for me to repeat them we've all heard them. Prayers to everyone who is part of this club that none of us wants to join.

you could do a make your own advent calender u hang something from a door which has 24 pockets in and everyday, (or the night before) you add something in them, doesn't always have to be small toys or sweets and you may have a happy child.

It's the dryness in your hair + bleach damage, it knots up when fabric is rubbed up against it (like scarves). You need a good detangling silicone conditioner (like Herbal Essences Hello Hydration). It works for me.

Lovely Christmas gift choices! We went to a birthday party this weekend and the little girl got one of those Melissa & Doug stamp sets. It kept the kids entertained for a good 30-45 minutes. I definitely want to get my toddler one too. ;)

The knotted hair thing always happens to me in the winter too! Its the coat and scarf I think! Tangle teezer hair brush is really good, as well as just pulling your hair to the front whenever it seems like its getting caught to stop it happening haha!

I have done the same with my son, got it (mostly) all last month one day and his fourth birthdays on 14th Jan so can split it. we had the dinosaur stamp sets last year it was mostly used to stamp his arms! He had a playmobil advent calendar too, some days it was like a teeny thing like a hat off the figure. we also had a chocolate one 😱 we also have had a couple of present discovers too haha

You need to get the men's pop socks from Primark. Its so annoying when they slide off, i had the same problem. But the ones from Primark have a kind of anti slip strip on the heal bit, so they never slip, its like magic 😂👍🏽 Love you ❣️

That happens to me too- usually when im wearing a scarf so that might be what's happening to you if you're wearing scarfs often! I use a tangle teezer to get rid of It in about 5 minutes! xx

Sock hack! I used to work at Vans, they sell no-show socks with little grips at the back. They never slip because of the rubberized back! Go grab a pair, they're super comfortable.

You could do a book advent calendar for Grayson - they basically get a book each day rather than (or as well as) opening a chocolate calendar. That way you get him even more into reading, you can give him the Christmas books and there is a purpose to it - just an idea 😘

For the tangles I agree with most people, the tangle teaser works brilliantly. But in my salon we use davines products which are all natural and the oi all in one milk is a great all rounder with phenomenal detangling power! Also love love love the cosy cubs leggings. I really enjoy videos like these ❤️

Hey Hannah, if you don't have one already tangle teezers are great for brushing difficult hair! I have very curly hair that gets knotted and matted easily and my tangle teezer makes brushing it sooo much easier xx

I had the same tangly problem when I had very long hair. I would recommend a wet brush and baby hair detangler. Johnson and johnson make a really great one. I also, try to some of the knots out when my hair is all slippery with conditioner in the shower.

Primark pop socks are amazing! They have them with silicon stuff all the way round the edge so they stay on.

I have really thick long hair and used to get those annoying matte lumpy knots all the time, and found that a little comb and a tangle teezer are genuinely the best remedy. I wouldn't wet your hair before you try to brush the knot out because I found it made it even harder haha xx

I used to have the same problem with pop socks! h&m do some that are have gel pads on the back so they stay on super well and you can hardly see them when i wear trainers!

Hey! I have the same with the hair. It happens whenever I wear a rolled up neck or a scarf! Especially with wool or natural materials. Just brush them out or I tend to wear my hair in a bun :)

I bought tresemme hydrating most for like £4 in boots but it's been really good for untangling. 👍🏼 I went for it because it said silicone free! It's more of a spirit than a mist so I spray it on my hands first than work through.

Best ever leave in conditioner is Uniq One (by Revlon). I've seen it in TK Maxx or I sometimes get it on eBay. About £8. Honestly cannot live without it!
