I found you as a random recommendation, surprisingly for Orbital Artillery. As a child of an Artillery regiment truck driver, it was a lot of fun. This song speaks to me too, in the sense that I feel stuck and hating that nothing I do feels good or right. I enjoy Eagle 1 but Orbital Artillery and the diss track are daily blasts for me. So from some random Australian on the internet, you make some kick ass songs and I will happily wait as long as you need to make another banger like Orbital and Dessy ❤ Keep up the amazing work and take breaks as needed

I'm not an artist but fuck this is a mood. Trying so hard at something and putting your everything into it just to feel like you still aren't good enough. For me especially the universe decided to twist the knife by making me amazing at everything except racing, which is the one thing I want to be good at more than anything else. It sucks even more that I've realised I would probably be happier and better off if I just stopped and spent my free time elsewhere. But, I care too much to give it up, so I guess I'm going to keep going.

The second bjggest challenge was making a song as good as Eagle 1. The even bigger challenge has been making a song better than Eagle 1. I swear, that song haunts me in my dreams. I'm always comparing everything I make to it and it's incredibly frustrating when nothing quite stacks up. Like I made the perfect song 😮‍💨 I just want something to be that good again. 😭

This is perhaps the most relatable song I've heard in a long time. As artists, regardless of our art form, we never think what we do is good enough. 100K views? not enough. Two art gallery showings? I'm trash. Writing contract with a major company? Everything I write is garbage. But we have to accept that our opinion isn't what matters, it's those that consume our art who decide if it has worth. And that is the most frustrating thing of all.

We resonate viscerally. On our main account, We would create weekly ASMR content in which We did the script-writing, vocal performances (ofc), editing, and even the art by ousself and after a couple months I just burnt ousself to the ground. 'Tis taken a year in hiatus but I hope to return to that craft, but at least the silver-lining is I no longer despise our own artistry. Always remember that artistry is a process, not something you can regulate. Putting too much pressure on yourself to try and perform sometimes backfires spectacularly. We believe in you... And we'll spread your music about regardless, as its entertaining, its enjoyable. The desire to become big, to make certain that all these efforts aren't pointless... Its a good desire to have, but never become so subsumed in your "need" to release something weekly that you forget that you're an artist, and Human, first. To be Human is to fail. To be Human is to fall... And pick yourself back up and try again. At the end of the day, this could be nothing more than a flash in the pan, or your ticket to become a recognizable name on RU-vid... 😟 Not everything I make is good. Most of what I make is bad, but I never let it out of the lab. I've been frustrated that I haven't made anything as good as Eagle 1 in...forever, and this last week, I've had such little energy that creating anything has been very hard. I'm not sad. More, uh, frustrated that I've gone from having more ideas than I had time to work on to no ideas at all, and this song is the best I could come up with. So yes, I'm really happy that this song was made at all, but getting to the point where this is all I could make has been genuinely upsetting.

I think you're probably right about all of that 😮‍💨 Especially the wider variety of genres contributing to lower view count, like the algorithm doesn't really know what to do with it

Oh and there is another level to it: You think your art is shit. And every time you try and pluck one deficit, you find another. So you want honest feedback on what to improve and how to go on. But if someone says it's good you just don't believe it and that they think it's so shit they resort to lying... so they need to critique... but then you find your own thoughts echoed and you get demotivated more easily. The worst, however, is if they don't say anything to it. Because then you feel like it's not worth to be interacted with.

I don't play hell divers 2, so I don't get the references. With that being said, I don't need to know the references to know good music. You have easily earned a place on the people I feel our doing the most for unlabeled artists.

I haven't made anything related to Helldivers since my first several videos, so no need to feel like you're missing out, and even then, only Eagle 1 was about HD. 🤍 But regardless, thank you so much 😇🥰
