Just bought this as a blind buy but have tried Prada L’homme, Prada Luna Rosa Black and Ocean and love them all, I do think Black lacks projection and longevity but is beautiful, so looking for a new signature scent (used to have Bulgari Black but discontinued for years now), blind bought this and I love it, smells amazing, has decent projection and longevity, 10/10.👍
Great review! Maybe I didn't pay enough attention or it wasn't mentioned, but, where is that 0.5 point deducted from? In other words, what's the missing element that would make this perfect in your opinion?
Great review! I'm looking forward to trying this. I love a deep, rich iris fragrance, but since Dior has stripped it away from the once-legendary Homme, it's been hard to find another great iris scent, at least in the U.S. I just got a bottle of the most recent Dior Homme Intense, but I have to bury my nose in my skin to detect it after 30 minutes. After watching another review by you, I've just ordered Valentino Uomo Intense and am anxiously waiting for it to arrive. I'm curious as to how you feel Prada L'homme Intense compares to Valentino Uomo Intense...
Hi Farrell! I tried new batches of Dior Homme Intense and while it's not 100% the same beast mode as my (older) bottle it's not weak.. You sure you're not going noseblind to it? 😊 I'm addicted to good powdery scents and DHI & VUI are definitely at the very top with the best of them.. I hope you will enjoy VUI! Please do share how you feel about it when you get it 👍 To me prada l'homme intense has "that" L'homme kind of powdery scent but it's stronger and a darker (thanks to the leather and it's woody side) than the original L'homme. VUI to me also has leather but it's a bit different making the blend feel "darker" and it also have a prominent dose of vanilla in it which makes it quite different. all those 3 are FANTASTIC choices for someone who truly loves powdery scents. I can also recommend the excellent Givenchy Gentleman collection if you are addicted to powdery fragrances: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-NKUQccFxwGQ.html Hope that helps!
@@rottenrebels Hello & thanks for the response! Hopefully, it's just my nose being fickle. Ever since having Covid a few years back, my sense of smell still goes through "off" periods. A fragrance lover's worst nightmare 😥 I also recently got Givenchy Gentlemen Reserve Privée and am having difficulty detecting iris in it as well. Very strange, as I can still smell a very strong iris in Chanel's 28 La Pausa, even though that is a very 'green' iris instead of powdery... I have high hopes for Valentino UI. The combination of powdery iris, leather and vanilla sounds sooo good!
@@farrelltyler5224 ahh Covid.. I understand. Another thing to remember is that different scents with their different notes and concentrations affect different people in different ways. Sometimes I spray something on (and I usually spray A LOT) and can't smell it off myself after a while.. thinking it's all gone.. Then meet up with friends and they say I'm filling up a room 😂 Nose blindness happens people more often than they think. Hope you can pick up on the beauty of VUI when you get it! 👌
i bought it blind.what can i tell?it catches my heart(most probably by nostrils).and if it is discontinued(of which my shop in Poland has no clue),it would be a nosebreaking information.
Some say the leather note is very marked. Can you confirm? I want to buy a Prada l’homme but i cannot decide witch one, and I don’t want a heavy fragrance since summer is coming
@@rottenrebels thank you, have seen some reviews that "new" made in France bottles are not so potent but i dont see logic why would they reformulate discontinued fragrance and also from my experience i know how subjective sense of smell can be from person to person. Maybe i should buy it before they are all gone...
@ZeleniMrav that's all BS. Doesn't matter where it's made people just get paranoid an like to complain. If there is a difference it would be miniscule if any
Which of the Iris fragrances is a 10---- Dior Homme Intense/ Parfum, Givenchy Gentleman Privee, Narciso Rodriguez Blue Noir Parfum, Valentino Uomo Intense? Rate em for me, please.. Where does the Prada Intense go?
Thank you! I think both works really, but I might lean a bit - just a bit - towards this one. So for formal settings you really can't go wrong with this one. It's classy and elegant with dose of something attractive about it without that full on lip sticky vibe of DHI. I absolutely LOVE both though! 😊
Both are sort of powdery but to me thats where the (biggest) similarities end. Prada Lhomme intense has part of that prada lhomme dna and uomo intense carries some of the originals dna.. I think they are different enough to warrant owning BOTH 😊 And both are insane compliment getters 😊🙌
@@_morris184 I bought a backup bottle around christmas when it was rumoured to be discontinued and that bottle has Spain and 2017 on it. Your Prada L'homme intense bottle is made in France? And it's performance is bad?
Compliments. 😉 Most really do enjoy this fragrance and I’ve been in a lot of offices with it on.. But like in ANY situation where there are a lot of people, there’s always going to be that one who doesnt like this or that. That’s just life 😊 But in my experience this fragrance works great in pretty much any kind of situation, including being office friendly👍
