Throughout our time together my wife and I have had 10 different felines who've allowed us to serve them. We currently have 5. All of them have had distinct and different personalities but they've all been wonderful to us. In return for our undivided attention and servitude we've recieved their undying love and affection as well as continuing entertainment with antics and surprises. We wouldn't have it any other way. The 5 we have now have conspired to actually teach each other their individual ways of manipulating us. We're constantly amazed how suddenly one of them has started to use the other's methods of coersion. If you truly love cats you understand.
In my life I've been blessed by having 6 best floofy friends, and I honestly would have been lost without them. Each had very different personalities and quirks, but all gave me happiness, love and laughter...and the odd fright. And I hope in return I gave them love and a good life too. Maybe a few less gifts of dead things might have been nice. 🤣
Yep I'd rather have a forever cat than a forever human , you'll continuously get unconditional love , no cheating or arguments or narcissism , just pure furry purry love 🐾
If you had a "Forever Human", that would imply the Human wouldn't cheat on you, and would love you for life. Not to mention you can't make love to a Cat.
@MikMoen , Hee hee good point , Lost my cat to heart failure then after that - I had my forever human partner 100% faithful and loyal even with our ups and downs , but I just buried her to cancer a few months ago so . We would have been together forever if she didn't die I know that much. 👌💛🐾
If you live alone and have a cat, you're not living alone. They bring SO much joy and love. To the people who prank their cats (like the girl in the video sounding like a lion), please don't prank them, it's not kind, it's mean.

I adopted Kitty my Calico from a big box store. Her previous "owner" had died. First night she jumped up in the bed and peed on my hip. After a month long banishment from the bedroom she didn't do that again. Now she gets separation anxiety if she can't see me. One of the sweetest and clingy cats I've ever had.

I adopted my lovely miku about 2 years ago, i got her at the humane society and the moment i reached out my finger to her she just pawed at me as if to say "come closer" i was struggling really bad with my mental health but she just had somthing about her that made me fall in love. My mom went with me and said, "that was probably the happiest ive seen you in a while" We brought her home and interestingly enough she just settled in as if she belonged there. About a year after we had her she all of a sudden couldnt eat, every time she would just throw up. And she couldnt even drink water at one point. She was doing really bad and it just destroyed me. I was attached to her from day one. We were able to take her to the vet and apparently she had swallowed something. She needed surgery, she actually had to get two surgeries in one week because the first time they didnt get everything out. Shes nice and healthy now and has a funny cute personality. She loves antagonizing my mom as shes not really an animal person. My cat really helped me get through the struggles i was facing and i feel like she wven made me feel hopeful for my future. Im looking forward to the days ahead with her. She just makes me feel like i can fo anything and even when i feel i cant i push myself because she depends on me just as i depend on her.
Dogs are your best friend, will be goofy all the time and very loyal. Cats on the other hand are just like humans, they will love you because they love you but will get mad at you if you do something bad to them. They also need their own space and have their own life. Just like us humans. This is why cats are much more complex and interesting than dogs, and as much as you will be heart broken when your dog passes, you will be even more when is your cat because your mid will make your cat seem to be closer to an actual human family member than a dog. We have many cats and dogs, we love them all, but I will always be more inclined to have cats than dogs.
A kitten showed up at the door yesterday. 6 weeks old? Still difficult to determine sex but I believe he is a male. I recently lost my other 2 cats. They were brothers 13 years old. Both gone in 2 weeks... Then this kitten shows up? He is too young to be away from his Mom but...? Haven't seen her. He is eating from a bottle (kitty fuel) and now to the vet.
