Is it common in the US for people to be induced so close to their due date? It seems super unnecessary? In the UK they give you 10 days past your due date unless there are health concerns. Jeez, give these women’s bodies an actual chance to do things naturally without injections a ton of fake hormones 🤦🏼♀️
That is definitely not the norm at all. They usually only induce early if it’s medically necessary. She didn’t say why they would induce her before her due date so don’t know why. She did have them very close together so maybe that’s a reason?
Most doctors won’t induce early in the States unless there’s a medical reason .. but they also don’t let you go over 41/42 weeks either depending on the practice.
From the back, Katie doesn't look pregnant at all. From the front and side, she looks about six and a half months along. When I was at forty weeks, I looked like I was hiding a two year old in my dress. :0) Happy baby, you guys. ❤

Go through a ton of ketchup for my 12 year old grandson. Have great-grands older than my three youngest grands. Can't wait until the next video. Praying for you all, including little Truett that he will be thrilled with new sister.
I could barely walk after birth. Making an announcement was the last thing on my mind. I’m not justifying the actions of their parents, but no one needs to leap onto social media the second their baby surfaces.
They deserve privacy just like all the rest of humanity. I agree social media is to me one of the worst things out there like Facebook, Twitter, etc. Enjoy your family without others ruling your life.
Btw-the birthing suite looks just like/similar to the one Joy was just in! I recognized it immediately. Unless it’s just a similar hospital, not sure. It’s nice, comfy looking as far as hospitals go.
Going past a guess date isn’t reason alone to get induced. And getting checked for dilation doesn’t tell you anything other than her body is doing what it’s supposed to.
I do cheese and real bacon bits instead of ketchup, but you do you Katey. Sometimes I add fresh tomato chunks and sweet peppers, almost a western omelet but I do scrambled cause I'm too impatient to omletize.
I'm a 57 year old Arkansan...I've got 5 kids.Ive never seen anyone go thru labor and delivery as smooth as butter like Katey! She's the Queen 👸 for sure!
