Like Nadia who on many times has said she needs a Cronus to play and was upset that COD LAN event wouldn’t let her bring her Cronus to the live event. That should let you know that it is cheating to use it if the game developers won’t let you bring one to use.
I still don't understand that event, Nadia is the COD industries worst kept secret, how they even thought it was okay to invite her to the event baffles me especially since they had the foresight to ban the Cronus mod. But to be honest, if you are at an event you should be forced to play KBM, those events are meant to show skill, no controller player will ever beat a top-level KBM player.

As a software developer, I am intrigued and impressed by the level of sophistication of modern mods/cheats. As a gamer, I am disgusted that people use these things in PvP gaming.
Console gamers always get mad at me even if you get rid of PC cross-play you still have cheaters and hackers. "But it's not possible" stuff like this existed as far as back as the good old Nintendo Entertainment System.

Obviously they shouldn't be allowed, although I think the problem is detecting them. It really kills the competitive scene for console with how popular the device is it wouldn't be surprising to find out everyone at the top of console was using one. I've heard you can use them on PC too, not sure how that works though.
It's sad how consol used to be relatively free from cheaters, that it was mostly a PC issue. They just emulate a controller as far as I know, so they should be usable on PC too.

Exactly, that's how you know something is up. If a gun has ridiculous recoil, no amount of attachments is going to fix that problem. I play on PC, and so many of those "no recoil" classes I've tried have been absolute garbage.

We sell those at GameStop. First time I saw them I was baffled, they literally say on the box that it contains mods, all of which are "illegal" in game. Fortnite aim abuse, mortal Kombat easy fatality, unlimited sprint and aimbot in call of duty, just to name a few.
@@RyZeDHD i dont use it for anti recoil and stuff like that. I use it for single playere games with a really high deadzone to lower it and to fix other stuff like that, i never use it to cheat. I have how ever tried the anti recoil and aimassist options out of curiosity and i can tell you that if you are decent at the game it will only slow you down instead of helping, it is only usefull for really bad players.

In my honest opinions, there is nothing wrong about using assists bots/scripts/devices in casual gaming. They all need a different pedigree to being technical and learn how they work to make your game play easier. Playing game is all about losing time and consuming time. So, as long as someone is losing their time for gaming, they can do whatever they want for their own entertainment. When it is allowed that way, you all have an option to go for these devices or you choose not to. It is easy However, in competitive game mode like E-Sport, league cups, tournaments, these devices are absolutely forbidden to use and will disqualify anyone who uses it. Therefore, this answer the question, if you are a competitive and a pro gamer, you wouldn’t want to use it to practice with, and if you are just a consumer who consumed up your own time to enjoyment, you can enjoy whatever you want

I just want to get a modded controller because I'm tired of always getting my ass kicked 😢 gaming is meant for entertainment and to provide us with enjoyment but depending on who you're competing with in a game it can be the complete opposite. Not every player is either as good as another player or has the time to constantly practice to just to be able to compete with another player and for cases like that I would understand why someone decides to use a modded controller. I play GTA and everyone that plays online uses a cheesy sniping method where they constantly zig zag back and fourth and it makes it almost impossible to hit them with your shot. You wouldn't happen to know of a way where I could get my hands on a modded controller that allows you to use aimbot on a sniper would you? Or if you could get banned for doing something like this?

Players that aren't aware of these tactics have to deal with CONSTANTLY getting dominated by players that use these cheesy tactics and on top of that you have players that like to rub it in by talking shit to other players that aren't as "good" as them. I have played quite a bit of Apex Legends the last 18 months, getting to diamond rank, I have seen players moving or melting others in a way that just should not be commonly seen. They are definitley Cronos cheating. I recommend never "investing" to much of your mental health into advancing ranks in a game unless you also just buy the Cronos, which I did not.
Wouldn’t the easiest solution be if you use this device you only play in lobbies with other that use it? I get it’s undetectable but like an honor system settings toggle. I’d think you’d feel 1000 times more hype knowing you bodied others using this as opposed to a regular player, like where is the challenge in that?
It would be easy enough to detect, at least with OEM controllers. you'd put a firmware checksum into the controller. "allow or disallow" would depend on the server/game.

That's why I take great pride in my 1.5 K/D ratio. I never cheated in Call of Duty. Been legit player since Call of Duty 2 on Xbox 360 back in '05. I play warzone with forced cross play against PC players with every advantage they can get. Wider field of view. Better graphics cards. Higher frames per second. No recoil. No screen tearing or lag. I play against hackers on PC and Cronus cheaters on console. I only have about 30 wins but I can proudly say I've acquired EVERY single one of those wins with the odds stacked against me in every way shape and form people can get. And I've gotten EVERY single one of those wins with nothing more than skill. No special controllers. Nothing. Just pure raw skill that I've acquired from years of experience. The way it should be! All you weasels using these devices and shady tactic to win... You're pathetic.

I got accused by my friends on Splitgate because they thought I was using “Aimbot” because I’m hitting so many headshots. And I said “you can’t hack on controller” and when I see this, I’m now scared.
These provide little to no advantage, and when they do, that is purely the games design being flawed. This doesn't give you "aimbot" or allow you to see other players through walls. It simply runs unhumanised inputs through a controller, being which has no access to the games memory making it extremely limited. So no, you aren't getting shredded because of this device, sorry to break it to you. The only advantages to worry about would be rapid fire on semi autos, which is only an issue when a fire rate cap isn't in place, or some obscure exploit like jittering which would be the developers fault for not patching. I would maybe consider "anti recoil" to be up there but if you need help with recoil control, chances are you couldn't aim either.

This is a biproduct making gamers assume that an inferior input device for FPS games can play the games just fine. FPS games were never intended to be played with controllers in the first place.
It's really not, cheating devices have been around since the NES for any game. PC players just download the cheats or use a macro. FPS were originally intended for a much worse input device than controllers.
@@deathtrooper2048 FPS games as we know them today, starting with Wolfenstein 3d were designed around mouse and keyboard control. Literally every aspect of FPS gameplay works far better with a mouse and keyboard. Controllers don't do anything but DRASTICALLY hinder FPS game design.

I assume these things are getting popular because of the really shitty game design by modern games. I wouldn't cheat in an online multiplayer game but I can understand it that some people simply don't want or can grind through modern and shitty gamedesign to unlock stuff for the full experience of the game. Cheating is getting more mainstream because games are too but it also can't be denied that modern gamedesign played a huge part in the interest of cheating.
@ True, but what makes game designers want to improve things if people are going to cheat. This is why most games don't want a PvP or want to balance pvp cause you're fighting vs hardware and software things cause people just don't want to play the game

If cheaters are present, you cna generally say that people want to play the game but that certain aspects, especially the balancing and matchmaking is bad. People cheat less in games with fairer rules beccause there is less reason to. Overall, only because there are cheaters doesen't mean that the devs can or should be lazy about their games. Cheaters were around since the 70s and it has never hindered game developement. If a company decides to stagnate, it has nothing to do with cheaters but only withj the grief of the directive organ of the company.
There was a lady who did just that in the Boston marathon in 1980. She took the subway to the last mile of the race and “came in first place”. Great analogy, people who cheat are pathetic human beings and nothing will ever change that fact.

the only way for me to be somewhat competitive would be to use something like this. im consistently the worst, by a long shot, on my team in warzone. i dont like cheating but if it makes the game fun, by being competitive, then i might give it a shot because at the moment its not really any fun when you get killed 5-10 seconds after you land on the ground.
@@dirtrider88 I get it, but you are reinforcing my idea of people feeling small. Maybe it is a problem with the qame, or maybe you just need to adjust your advanced look controls, and practice some ranked arenas and firing range.
I’ve no issue with people cheating in single player games or even coop games… if these devices let you cheat and you feel it will improve the game for you, knock yourself out. In PvP using these is wrong. It can’t be justified. I also know though that because they don’t alter the code, but instead are an input device they’re going to be incredibly hard to detect 😢so we may just have to live knowing there are cheaters out there.
Hopefully the AI improves in 10 years so you can have a nice "multiplayer" experience with just your console. A bit like unreal tournament back in de days.

So 4 years before I had a decent online multiplayer. Like ghost recon 2 for 360. LOL no it does NOTHING to help you track targets, it is basically a macro-box....there is NO way for this device to "aimbot". It has no way of knowing where any target is. This video is misleading, you can't just "pick up an M4 and switch to your M4 macro", and voila, zero recoil. It doesn't work that way. You have to use the M4 that has the EXACT recoil characteristics as the M4 your recoil macro is based on...in other words, if you grab an M4 that has different attachments than the attachments that were on the M4 that your recoil macro is based on, then the device is going make your recoil WORSE, either it will pull you down off the target or not pull down enough. Oh and you won't know until you start shooting, so yeah....useless except for the specific gun buildout you keep in your loadout. Additionally it cannot adjust for changes in recoil patterns that almost every gun in Warzone has. So any gun that starts straight and then veers off to one side with increasing recoil, yeah you can't account for that. You have to pick which part of the recoil pattern you want to the device to compensate for. And yes, you can adjust the recoil control strength of the macro....how much ammo you got? Feel like firing a weapon over and over for everyone around you to hear while you adjust your Cronus device? The reality is this device is WAY more of a pain in the ass to use than it is a "cheating" device. It is only useful for one very specific
Zig-Zagging means more time exposed to the enemy. The best way to move is quickly and as close to cover as possible in a straight line. Now, if you're running in the open and there's no cover within 10-15m of you, THEN it's your own fault lol
Yea Cronus is just like a really powerful aim assist. It can also eliminate some recoil but that’s about it. No way is it as powerful as pc cheats/hacks.let’s put it this way you still have to be somewhat good to be be good with a Cronus. Definitely not like this video makes it seem far from a aimbot. I'm of 3 minds on this topic, my gut reaction is disdain for cheaters and a visceral desire to see a series of anticheat detection programs implemented. But on a second thought I have early onset arthritis and have had to give up using semi auto weapons in my kits because I get trigger finger so easily now, I was a tournement player for halo 2, I cried while playing halo 5 knowing I had to give up on the franchise because it revolves arpund semi autos. A device which can give me full auto on my triggers is genuinely what I need if devs wont add accessibility options like destiny 2 did. The third position is one i was informwd of by an old friend, he and I played battlefield since BF2 and are now solidly top 1% players and likely to be the two most influential players on any server that isn't an organized clan match and even then we will still be driving the match up. He plays more than i do these days and he realized about 60% plus of the tip players are using cronus zens and to compete fairly he felt he needed one, I blame DICE for not rate limiting the semi auto fire rates in their games and for being to easy to manipulate with aim adjust scripts, people are using semi auto weapons with full auto burst teiggers, auto aim and recoil mods to fire something like an m1 garand like it's a laser. They need to put randomized recoil on console not just PC. My buddy said he hates using the thing so much and that it's such a faff compared to how we used to play he cant even enjoy the games anymore. The truth of it is a sinple anti cheat program could detect these devices by monitoring inputs and how precise they are. The question now is why they aren't going after them is it because the accesibility argument will blow up in their face along with a few false bans, maybe even streamer hate? Or is this a bit political and devs are saying the consoles should be doing this anticheat work?

As a legit gamer it annoys and frustrates me when I come up against a modded account or someone obviously cheating its a no from me play the game how it was designed to be played 👍✌
The guys actually right cold war snipping is easy. I actually have a high kd finally because of nuke town 24. But with out it I won't have my 2 kd haha but yah with this pack it's fucked up to use weapons with high damage and no recoil.
NO it's not okay at ALL... It's cheating period. It ruins the game for everyone else. If you don't like getting stomped by other players get better, if you don't have the will and or the mental fortitude to get better then play a different game.
@YUK FOO I love pc and I'm not taking a dig at you but probably your KD is too low to get matched with hackers in the first place (me too btw). I have friends who encounter hackers daily and it made them quit warzone. Just look at how many streamers complain about hackers. I encountered 4 only in like 600 warzone matches cuz my KD is around 1.3.

@@wantaspritecranberry2 it also makes for a more satisfying game experience. it would be so boring for me to play a game knowing i didnt have to put any effort. do these people think they'll achieve some level of fame of money out of it? i mean why bother doing that unless you stood to gain something meaningful?
All gaming has a cheating problem. Kids want to emulate what they see on RU-vid and twitch, but the only way they can, is to cheat. The majority of youtubers and twitch streamers cheat to get views. It all boils down to money. Cheating in a video games is a billion dollar business selling cheats, and people can get rich quick with a new game and a cheat.
it also has dogshit anti cheat so aimbot is common. My brother, a legit player, has been banned 3 times for just being good at the game because people only get banned based on reports.
@@DD11218 You dont get banned for getting reports. Reported players are merely kept under closer watch for suspicious activity. So you- i mean "your brother" is a cheater.
