It would be a good idea, but it would be a different game. Yandere-dev is working on a game where *you* are the monster, and is currently dealing with all the mechanics and complexities that involves. As a target, your character (and consequently you) would have no idea who is targeting you until an attempt appears (and by then that may be too late). Essentially, your strategy will have to be completely defensive, while still behaving like a good student for Sempai. Do you go off alone to meet a girl who will warn you of another girl's suspicious intentions towards you, or will she be your murderer? Will suddenly moving from your seat in the middle of lunch throw off your murderer's opportunity to target you, or give her the chance to poison your food? Do you announce your intention to confess to sempai early, so that your saner rivals don't get the chance to steal him from you, or later, so that you have a chance to identify who is killing your rivals off? Which school courses and clubs give you which defensive abilities? Does track and field allow you to run away from direct attacks? Does reading detective stories give you a greater chance to detect traps? Does Chemistry give you the ability to detect poisons? Does the photography club give you the ability to examine snapshots of suspects' locations and activities to give you clues to your future attacker? Oh, and during this, you have to keep yourself attractive for Sempai, which may involve making you vulnerable to certain attacks. For example: as a normal girl, you can strike up a conversation with Sempai and be with him so he'll think better of you (and help keep rivals from getting his attention), but that also puts you at the top of Yandere-chan's murder list.All this would make for a good game, IMHO, but it would not the same game as the one Yandere-dev is making. Maybe if Yandere Simulator is a success (which I hope it will be), your idea could make for an interesting spin-off: "Lovesick II: where YOU are the target," but for that to happen you'll either have to code it yourself, or wait until Yandere-dev completes the first game.
