i dont mean to be so off topic but does someone know of a way to get back into an instagram account..? I somehow lost my password. I appreciate any help you can give me
I love this. You guys are all so relatable and it literally looks like a peek into a British family’s daily life. I get put off by a lot of stuff on RU-vid seeming so...photoshopped ( I can’t explain it) so it’s lovely watching videos like this.
I'm Canadian, currently living in London... and I have dessert/pudding every day, I just feel incomplete without it.. and it's not always some elaborate cake or something, I just consider it to be anything sweet :) chocolate, biscuit, some fruit, yogurt etc
My family has always had dessert or a "treat" after meals especially after dinner and it always varies to what is in the house. Even my little niece and nephew will get a sweet treat for a reward after they eat their meals. I think the term "pudding" is so much more pleasant sounding too. Also I love listening to your accent and I think your humor is great!!!
Hi , I’m also called grace 👏🏽😅. It’s actually so funny how much I relate you you 🙂in our house we call the day before Christmas Eve Christmas Adam because Adam came before eve 😅😂. Thought that you’d appreciate that
i found your channel yesterday and i don't even know how many videos i've already watched😂 your content is so unique and interesting and i love seeing your family dynamic👌 oh and i definitely have "pudding" every day!
I’m American and my family and I only eat “pudding” on special occasions like birthdays and such. But Merry Christmas Eve Grace! 😊 Looking forward to your holiday series x
it's christmas eve eve! already had my potato salad and wiener for dinner (big tradition here in germany). hectic waving over to you grackle, your fave fish toast girl x
I'm Italian and over here we eat pudding after lunch or dinner when we have family/friends gatherings. On a very day basis, I think I can say that most people don't have puddings every day. Maybe sometimes, maybe we have a sweet snack, maybe a chocolate. But I guess it depends.
I enjoy learning about customs from other cultures as well! I live in the U.S. and I call an after meal treat "dessert" and I rarely have it - maybe once a week. I consider pudding to be a specific type of dessert - kind of like yogurt but chocolate or vanilla flavored. I love your videos, by the way. You and your family are so sweet!
I love seeing the way your family interacts and operates! I am an only child raised without any close family dynamic so it is kind of fascinating to me to see everyone spending time together and helping with meals. The banter is great too!
I live in Holland and at our home we do have pudding every day after a warm meal, which is typical in Holland, but the 'pudding' here after a meal is usually yoghurt and 'vanille vla' which is similar to custard what you have in England. I would say a dessert as for example a piece of cake, brownie, cookie etc. Is not very common in Holland.
Pudding/dessert - Usually there is something a bit sweet, some fruit, or ice cream, cookies, cake...I started off so healthily and devolved into sugar reality! Yay for pudding!
Call it limbo mas! That's how we all feel that week between Xmas n new year. Like we're in limbo. No one really knows quite what to do with ones self so having your vlogs to watch will be great! Keep doing what you're doing!! X
In the US, what you’ve described as pudding we would call dessert. I personally have some form of dessert nearly everyday but it’s not commonplace to do so. I think it varies a lot by person, but I always have something sweet after dinner.
You DO have Italian viewers indeed! I'm Italian and I don't like coffee so I'm a bit of an outcast but from what I see we usually have a short coffee (espresso) after lunch, not necessarily with something sweet to go with. Many people even take the after-lunch coffee pure black, without any sugar. Not my jam. Pudding wise - we don't really have it after meals, we do if there's a family/friends gathering or it's a special occasion but I think it depends on how you are used and how you were raised. I personally don't look for a sweet something after my meals but I like having something you would call pudding for a mid-afternoon break or breakfast. I agree with you when you say it's very interesting to know everyone's different food habits being from all over the world :) Happy Christmas Grace!
I’m American & I just found your channel & I absolutely love it! I think you are hilarious 😂 I also agree with the overall comments that we typically do not eating pudding every day. Typically it’s for special occasions or if you want to treat yourself!
Well, I'm Brazilian. I'm pretty sure everyone in my family has a something sweet everyday. Usually something with dulce de leche since basically everyone has that in the house. Not necessarily after dinner though. Mostly before. The thing is, we eat dinner late, so when people get home from work/school there's a small meal called café da tarde and that's basically breakfast but at 6 or 7 pm. Then you start making dinner to eat it at 9 or something. Today I had carrot cake with brigadeiro "frosting" for breakfast and I'll have some more in the afternoon.
Pudding to me is a certain sweet thick chocolate liquid like treat. It's either vanilla ( or vaniller to u) or chocolate. We call it dessert here. Like having a little something sweet after dinner. We don't have dessert every single day but we will do so when we have a sweet tooth and we definitely have dessert on special occasions such as Christmas dinner, New Years dinner, Easter dinner, marriage celebrations/engagement parties, thanksgiving, baby showers, birthdays ETC. Ima chocolate lover, so I'll usually have an almond nut raisin milk chocolate to satisfy my sweet tooth. Or anything with chocolate really. Like a brownie or a chocolate chip cookie 🍪 dipped in tea ☕️ yuuuuum!
My family is from eastern Europe, growing up we only had pudding/dessert occasionally. Our parents would buy us ice cream, or cookies for a special treat. We would always have very elaborate birthday cakes. But, we would always have massive amounts of cookies, cakes candies, pies, pastries, and even trifle on the holidays!
Australian here. I have dessert when I feel like it. I generally have ice cream and something like fruit. Depends on the person and family. Also I've heard other Australians call dessert - pudding. Also pudding is a boiled cake or self-saucing cake/fudge cake.
Happy christmas eve!!! Hope your enjoying the most exciting day of the year!! Maybe you could call it Grackledays or Gracklidays (as in holidays)?? and I think your 5pm upload time would be perfect!! Xxx
I’m American and a lot of us low something sweet after dinner. Could be fruit salad, cookies, chocolate pudding, cereal, something like that. For some reason cakes and brownies and cupcakes are all saved for special occasions usually. Well unless I felt like making them lol
I live in Belgium! I don't have pudding every day, usually on more special occasions (or when I made something for everyone in my family). Happy Christmas!
In Ireland we only have dessert on a Sunday after Sunday dinner. But you’d have a biscuit/bit of chocolate with a cup of tea watching tv after dinner or something.
Tip for your mince pies:use muffin cases to line the tins then put the pastry in that before assembling and cooking. They come out so easily. Merry Christmas 🎄
I’m from New Zealand and I wish I had pudding every day 😂😂 we call it both dessert and pudding, but only on special occasions. Usually stick to breakfast lunch and dinner and snacks. But a lot of people’s breakfasts will be coffee and muffin or snacks will be cake so the sweets at night aren’t really necessary 😁
I am American and live in America now, but grew up in the UK. Pudding in America is like custard-and snack after dinner(or tea) is normally called dessert. We don’t always eat pudding but when we do it’s fairly similar-biscuits, cake, jelly, or maybe something with a bit of Nutella. It seems strange, but I don’t think a lot of Americans eat dessert every night. I miss Viennetta, Arctic roll, Jaffa cakes, digestives, Etc. I always loved the snacky-bits in England during the holidays! Love your channel-very nostalgic for me!
We have pudding after dinner too. But sometime it's fruit and most of the time we would walk around a bit then have a sweet treat afterward . Hellloooo from America
Hello and merry christmas, i hope you and your family had a joyful time so far :) 5pm upload time sounds great to me! and for the pudding situation: i’m half german half polish and we use to have pudding after dinner when we have a family thing going on, but on a daily bases for most germans it’s not to common to eat something sweet after lunch or dinner :) but not for me, i have a serious sweettooth and definitely need at least a tiny chocolate after a savory meal :D
American here! I find your sense of humour crack up! My mom has a little cookie every day after dinner, I have dessert every day since moving to Australia haha
Italian dessert is usually fruit and nuts and then on special occassions or every so often they may have a few biscuits. Even on Ferragosto (big celebration in august) its usually some ice cream or one time my zia (aunt) made this almond brittle type thing which was super sweet but still not like british desserts at all (im part italian, but mostly british and grew up in england)
I live in America and I hardly ever eat candy or sweets...I did when I was younger, but I lost my sweet tooth somewhere along the way. I love fast food though....I can't get enough of you eating all that yummy stuff!
If I'm the only African (South African to be exact) who watches your videos, I will be *SHOOK TO MY CORE* Sidenote: when you said "It hurts like a poo!" I laughed much harder than I should have 😅
I was born and raised (and still currently live) in Dubai, but my parents are Filipino so what we usually have after dinner varies. Sometimes we have arabian desserts like lougaimat, umm ali, or just have some dates with arabic coffee or tea. Other times, we have filipino treats like sticky rice or ube and cheese ice cream. Love your channel btw. x
I’m from the US and didn’t know dessert/pudding was such a big question 😂 I have dessert maybe once a week, usually after a family meal on the weekends (but definitely a lot more at Christmas time with all of the cookies and fudge!). But I have friends who have sweets of some sort on a daily basis and others who don’t have any dessert except for birthdays or holidays. I think it just depends on the person. Merry Christmas!
In Sweden some eat desserts but more of a Friday or Saturday thing. We don’t think of crisps as food, that is a snack for Friday night or for football on the telly, never for lunch or dinner. Our family eat sweets for holidays, like birthday cake, some ice cream in the summer and cookies and saffron buns at Christmas. After dinner snack is very rare... Lots of love to you and your family!
I’m American & I for sure eat dessert all the time. need somethin sweet after somethin savory! also i must have British humor because I think you’re hilarious also also I can’t wait to see your upcoming vlogs!!!
I’m from Sweden and I have never in my life heard of having pudding/dessert after dinner, like as a daily thing. That’s something you have after fancy meals 😱
In Italy we usually have fruit after lunch or dinner and when we have guests we prepare something special like a cake or something like that. I personally love eating dessert so I eat whatever I like even with no guests😂
I'm from Canada and I'll sometimes have a bite of ice cream or a cookie before bed, but def not every night! Usually it will be a treat when out at a restaurant or something! I think as a kid my friends and I would usually have desert after dinner, but I don't think anyone I know has it on a day to day basis now :)
I m from Romania and we usually have lunch as our big meal of the day and have dessert as like a snack in between lunch and dinner but it is mostly everyday
also i always eat dessert/pudding but i eat it like 2 hours after dinner... like i eat dinner, go to dance practice and then come home and i'm a little hungry after dancing so i eat dessert
You also have a Canadian viewer! And I have pudding after meals too. It’s nice to finish on a sweet note. And I drink hot water. It’s warming and NOT weird at all🙂
I make wholemeal pastry for my mince pies :) 225g flour (50/50 plain/sieved wholemeal) 50g margarine and 50g lard (or fridged coconut oil to make vegan) And water Make pastry as standard. It's the best pastry for mince pies 👌🏼 I also put discs marzipan in the bottom before I put in the mincemeat... delicious!!!
I’m in the US...in our family, kids will have “dessert” or “a small treat” after dinner, but adults definitely don’t have it every day. Big desserts are more for special occasions. I do have a hard candy or mint pretty much every day but I don’t think that counts. Merry Christmas!
I‘m from Austria and I also eat something sweet after meals, but mostly after lunch. Pudding means something completely different in Austria.. It‘s something similar to custard in the UK but the consistency is a bit firmer. It‘s pretty hard to explain haha 😂🙈
I'm American and LOVE your videos!! The "pudding situation" is we don't always have dessert after a meal. Now for me, who has a huge sweet tooth, I eat sweets throughout the day; not great for someone who is over 50! :(
I’m from the U.S. and it really depends on the people. When it comes to the holiday season I have pudding/dessert everyday. Nothing crazy but cookies/biscuits, a muffin, maybe a slice of cake, possibly a mini pack of candy. Also! I think you’re hilarious but I also like British comedy, well the view I’ve watched lol I love the IT crowd and love Monty Python, but the Booth family is great! Not dry to me lol
When I was living at home with my parents I remember that we had dessert after dinner every night, however since I suffer with weight issues I do not have dessert and don't give my children dessert...ice cream, cake and sweets are left for special occasions...
Happy Christmas from Thailand 🎄Pudding here is most likely a treat for kids comes in little plastic cup unless you go to a western restaurant, I think 🤔
Hey Grace😍Am Egyptian,, living in turkey,, and we take our puddings very seriously!! It’s not fixed and depends on what we have in the house too but it’s basically similar to yours,, apple cakes, chocolate cakes, turkish desserts,, sweet pastries,, chocolate,,and we always have it with afternoon tea ✨merry Christmas to your whole fam💕
We have dessert every night. My mother deprived me of dessert throughout my childhood so now I’m an adult I’ve taken matters into my own hands! It’s not always a treat food though, sometimes we just have a bit of fruit salad or apple and peanut butter.
ya im from canada but i have dessert/pudding every day! i think other people were confused because they thought u meant literal pudding like tapioca or choc. merry xmas grace !
I googled the term “pudding “ in England. I learned that it began as a class thing. I’m in America and our family didn’t have dessert after every lunch or dinner. If we had it, we had it, if not...oh well.. lol! But trust me, I grew up with a chocoholic Mom. 😂 We had sweets around. God bless!
Hi from Australia! I would say pudding after dinner isn't that common unless it's around the holidays, a birthday or going out for dinner. But varies person to person I think!
I'm 21 from Australia and I rarely have dessert, like I think I've had one maybe three times this whole year. But that's mainly because I live out of home and I just don't have the budget for snacks, can literally only afford to buy the ingredients for our main meals but if I did have the budget I think I would indulge maybe like once a week as a treat
