The Panama red cone flower is so georgous. My neighbor has them grown in their front yard and it’s hard to move my eyes away whenever I pass by.

They definitely can be part sun. The only downside to planting full sun plants in part sun is that you run the risk of them drooping towards the direction of where they get most of their sun (morning or afternoon), they are more susceptible to diseases, and they may not recover as well after a disease outbreak.

Lisa, do you have luck dividing echinacea ? I have some that are getting way taller and wider than their tags said they would be. (the high heat here in Chico CA 100+ must make them happy). For instance, I had to move all my 'Magnus' ,that I grew from seed, to the back of the borders, because they have reached 4 1/2 feet tall in their 3rd year!
