Here’s what I do: I go to the store and buy those command Velcro strips. I put a couple of them on the top of a painting and then just stick them on the wall. They hold super well and I’ve never had a problem with them falling off. I don’t do something with the borders unless I’m giving thepainting away to someone. I’m about to give one to my French teacher at my high school and I’m painting the borders black and just using the strips to help her hang up the diamond painting. Easy!
This is a really handy video! I myself paint my budget paintings with black, and hang them with double-sided tape. Still havent found anything to display my large diamond art club paintings, as I rent and I'm not allowed to nail things to the walls 😅
Diamond Art Club canvases are way too heavy for the magnetic frames. I have to super glue if I use that method. The art dot storage books don’t hold DAC canvases the canvases too heavy. That’s the con I’ve found with DAC. I can’t use cheap cheap options unless you have any tips.
Someone commented they use command Velcro strips. Haven’t tried those myself, but you are right that some of the large canvases are heavy once you add the weight of all the drills. Thanks for watching!!
Thank you for sharing this information. Some alternative ideas which are always handy when dealing with framing the irregular sizes in diamond paintings. Peace and love abide with you. 💕
I tend to use the magnetic frames + hangers for smaller paintings. Though I have a custom which I got from Dreamer Designs a 60x80cm that I cut all edges off it + used a wooden magnetic hanger. I didnt glue it in, it been hanging on my wall for 2 years + has never fallen off! In my craft room for my larger canvases I put washi tape round edges, I tend to put 2 layers down to cover the writing, then cut the excess off.
