I just got out of a 4 hour venture helping a new Comer to the game. Had some fun little missions completed 2 successfully while 10km out from the third I am less than 25% hydrogen fuel in my connie we made the choice to push forward. Ended up engaging a random aggressive a.i in a reclaimer that wasn't part of the mission than a random player showed up it was chaos. Ended up shooting at him before my ship was disabled..me and the new guy asked if we were alive then frantically stumbled through the ship as it was falling in atmosphere lights flashingand alarms blaring. He jumped out the side hatch, I made my way back to the Merlin docked. Right as I got to it the ship blew up and I died. He inevitably fell to his death. We both woke up in hospital gowns laughing at the whole situation. I LOVE THIS GAME. Had experiences in it like nothing else before. And I'm loving your videos I find them inspiring so keep it up!
Me and my brother took the Reliant Kore out for a 890j mission. As soon as we dropped out of quantum we got lit up by two pirate gladius's. The Bridge immediately blew up but I was in the cargo bay so I survived the soft death. My brother died and decided to just get off. So I quickly jumped out the cargo bay and watched as my ship spiraled out of control and got finished off by the gladius's. They started flying around I'm assuming looking for me but they eventually just went back to the 890j. I called in help on global and this random accepted my request for aid. I EVA jumped all the way 7km to the 890j. Enroute I told my help the situation and he was immediately worried, though I didn't know why. I see a flash in the distance, then 30 seconds later I see a 400I come flying by shooting at the gladius's. Right before I finally reached the door of the 890J, I saw one of the Gladius's in the distance ram into his 400I and blow up. His ship took off in a direction away from me I'm assuming to recharge shields. I boarded the 890j and cleared it of hostiles but sadly I was too late, everyone was dead so I failed the mission. But after I came back to the docking port after the all clear from my salvation, I jumped out and was greeted by a shredded sexy looking 400i. The front of it was damaged and the side was shredded. He brought me back home to civilization then went on his way haha.
@@adrianbarreto4225 that is awesome man and you could of just simply logged off after the ship was neutralized but look at the turn of events that played out simply by trying to push on. Creating your own adventure in a game is a special feeling that not many can offer and certainly no space game has come close to what I have done in this game.
@@1flinns I haven't been in a hammerhead in so long since before they added the ship death state. I could imagine how it would be on there with a full crew lol

It doesn't for me like that anymore. If I tap, I chug it. I have to tap again to stop. Not sure if its a bug or new feature. It wasn't in the patch notes.
Great video! It's always fun seeing someone enjoy Star Citizen for what it is. A couple of "problems" you ran into were preventable, but it's also very cool to experience things firsthand and figure things out. Hope you can keep finding your fun, because there's so much Star Citizen has to offer, especially when you take a step back and look at the bigger picture. Maybe the biggest step that can help you have fun is to find people to play with, it took me years to find like-minded players, but mostly thanks to the Overdrive Initiative missions, I got to play with very awesome people!
It is called the "Tonk" because a French Dev in the UK team was working on it and he pronounced it Tonk, unfortunately because of Britexit had to leave CIG in the UK. In terms of the aUEC, it reports your total UEC on the website, not the aUEC in game.
Had a great time during free fly, was thinking of buying but Ive decided to leave it until the next free fly as I should have graduated by then so might splurge a little, spent free fly doing a bit of everything, ERTs with buddies, salvaging in a reclaimer and vulture and some mining, ERTs were most fun imo but we'll see if that changes in a years time.
13:35 Yeah its just beautyful isnt it. I love to sometimes just get in the verse and go somewhere enjoy a sunset. If you go to a unfriendly Distribution centre, better bring a lot of ammo. There are around 50+ NPCs guarding it, depending how far in you go.
This game has the potential to become the game of all games. I stay away from it for some time as it spoils my other experiences. If you want a medical bed on your ship get a medivac and park it into the C2. You can respawn in all beds since latest patch if I remember right. The splash damage does not go behind cover unless you aim above head so it splashes down. It is kinda wonky, so the TONK needs some love. You know what's funny, situations like no key card are real to life. Dude went for lunch, so just one of those days.
You could always drink your drink in one go. You only needed to hold down the mouse button instead of clicking to drink. One more thing, don't drive your vehicle over the NPCs. They will phase into your vehicle with you. You'll be trapped in the seat and they'll be shooting you from inside the cab.
I havent been ejected into space during Quantum for a looong time. I think those times are gone ;). Nice intro. I think they made your starting money recently dependent on how much you played or if not wiped how much you haf before the patch. There are currently so many ship everywhere because of the free fly event and all ships beeing rentable for free at the Invictus show. So people tested them and just left them out there. You can use the mousewheel to adjust max speed on hoverbikes. Turn it to walking speed to load on ramps.
@@DIGITALSANDBOX Nope happened to me yesterday. In the Drake Vulture hit jump. Got up to sort out the salvage went on the ladder and went through the floor. Had a full load of rmc.
It still happens but mostly if you try to use a ladder or a lift while the ship is in quantum. Just walking around it during QT is now usually working fine.
You said C2 you really had me there for a second even though i questioned the color, but then you showed that it had the Military drop part of the ship, then i relized ahh its An M2 that explained the color not being white but steel, but there is a steel paint so i wasnt sure. Guess i didnt notice the nose untill a second take.
Well with Tank shells it depends what ammo is used. I am assuming they are using anti material shells and not high explosivs. So the splash damage is minimal but the armor penetration maxed out.
Intro was a bit odd, someone down on their luck suddenly gets a C2? Seems more like a pipe-dream even if they did get one and had relatively no UEC it wouldn't do them any good, wasting the space and the fuel for it. I'd imagine they'd either be handed a junker freelancer at most or a titan/nomad.
You took two missions that were meant for raid parties. And on the second one the turret didn't fire at your ship until you shot it because it was a lawful bunker the baddies were invading and the turret was never gonna shoot at you... until you shot it.
