🕷️ Marvel's Spider-Man 2 - Free Update with New Suits! 🕷️
A brand-new, free update for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is here, bringing eight new suits to the game - including fresh designs and returning favorites from previous titles. This exciting update, dropping on June 18, also addresses community feedback and includes stability improvements.
First, we’re thrilled to unveil four new suits created in collaboration with Colm Dillane, AKA KidSuper, and special guest collaborators:
Metro Suit (Miles Morales) - Designed by KidSuper, this suit features variant styles: red on black, classic Spidey, and teal on purple.
Ginga Suit (Miles Morales) - Co-designed by Vini Jr. and KidSuper, inspired by Brazilian culture and football, featuring styles like black, green, yellow, blue, red on black, classic, and gold on white.
Fluro Suit (Peter Parker) - Co-designed by Lando Norris and KidSuper, inspired by racing, with styles such as classic, white on black, and pink on blue.
Motorchic Suit (Peter Parker) - Co-designed by Rina Sawayama and KidSuper, featuring a leather motorbike look with variants like classic, black, and gold.
Additionally, four fan-favorite legacy suits from Marvel’s Spider-Man and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales are making a comeback:
Last Stand Suit (Peter Parker) - Featuring a red leather jacket with variants like classic, full black, and Arachno-Man-inspired yellow and green.
Into The Spider-Verse Suit (Peter Parker) - Inspired by Peter B. Parker’s design, complete with Film Style Animation mode.
Animated Suit (Miles Morales) - Reminiscent of classic cartoons and comics.
Uptown Pride Suit (Miles Morales) - A fan favorite with new colorways: silver trim, black on red, and blue on pink.
This update also brings stability fixes and addresses player feedback, such as the ability to swap parry and traversal abilities between the Symbiote and Spider Arms. Update version 1.003.000 will be available on June 18th, so stay tuned!

the last stand yellow and green is a reference to the archnoman Spiderman costume that you unlocked in the game Ultimate SpiderMan which was on gamecube,Xbox,PS2,PC,gameboy,nintendo ds and one of the nokio phones.

Word to the wise whenever yall ask Isonimiac to include things in the game for updates yall gotta make sure to be more specific with what yall say because i think some of yall messed up wit the symbiote Surge thing. I liked it better when you uses it and you could have on any suit. They need to have an option to change it to one of those suits that changed your UI to a blue like color I’m noticing that every single one of those suits are actual symbol suits and a none symbiot surge suit option like before (I’m not gonna including the symbiote suit styles for right now because they’ll probably be more complicated to add since there not actually symbiote suits, at least not right from the beginning when the option is available that’s something they can work on and add in a different update) Another thing I would like them to add is a option to change the spider arms to one of the special suit versions on any suit your wearing that’ll be a nice little addition as well in my opinion

It would be cool. But at least they add the attention to detail when you’re wearing specific suits, the arms change according to that suit. Ex: Infinity War suit, Iron Spider suit

One thing I hate is that now you change into the Symbiote Suit now with Surge. Why though? It was cool before when it didn't change my suit. Especially when I had the Black Suit from Spider-Man 3.

It'd be cool if they let you select what your Symbiote suit was. So when you do your surge it switches to whatever that selection is. So you could have the normal Tobey's red suit as the standard suit but Tobey's black suit as the Symbiote suit so when you do your surge it switches to that one.

I went to play this game again and they did not fixed the Symbiote surge! *(I’m on the NG+)* *• When I’m on the open World during the Symbiote surge:* he wore the Symbiote Suit! *• When I’m replaying the main mission / side missions during the Symbiote surge:* he didn’t even wear the Symbiote suit! He wore the other suit that you’re wearing!

One glitch still remains since launch. The lences for Peter's Webbed suit, classic suit, Advanced suit, Upgraded classic suit and last stand suit still glitch out when playing with those for a while. The white part of the lence kinda "move" so you can see in between the mask and the lences. Happens most often when you, in order webswing, jump out of webswing animation, do an air-trick and then webswing. Feels very frustrating when it messes up the lences. Ah yes, the back-logo for the Webbed suit is now broken. It glithes now when you look at it from certain angles. Most noticable when you move the camera around peter in a circle. The spider arms sfx still plays a bit when you do a *symbiote* boost or jump when wearing a non symbiot suit. The surge suit change got fixed in the open world, but it still does not change the suit into its symbiote variant when re-playing a hunter base, symbiote nest or story mission.

It’s amazing how much better the suits can look from the recolors. I really don’t like most of the suits Peter has in the game (especially since about 12 or so are from the movies, and the last one you unlock from leveling is his inside out suit…), but the recolors has helped with that. I mainly stick with the hooded one you unlock early game, but I might switch it up with the Last Stand one. It kind of makes it look like Peter has a bit of a belly from the side (because of the jacket being a bit bulky), but the pure black color scheme helps with that a LOT. Other than that, most of the suits are pretty meh overall, but hey, at least it’s free, and they might grow on me over time!

Im happy we got the symbiote finishers turn on but they are still way too few of them to actually see them consistently. Like i had 6 fights on free roam and only saw them once. Not even sure if they appear with any other suits besides the symbiote ones. I also kinda wished we got an option of choosing the surge suits. I was looking forward to passing the game with the black raimi suit and to surge with it. I hope insomniac can add that again and to see if we can pick between the black suit, the symbiote suit and the anti venom suit.

12:18 Honestly, it reminds me of the glitch back in Miles' stand alone game. If you've collected a time capsule from under the rock-like cave while wearing the classic suit, you can see that the red is replaced with reflective silver. I'm glad Insomniac paid homage to that specific glitch detail.

Remember when we played through the story after we got the black suit and Peter begin to get angry and angrier even though we heard him get angry at the crime? Why dont they just do an "animated suit" drop where for peter we get the ultimate, spectacular, and maybe the animated suit from the first game with the gauntlets. Idk as much about miles but I'm sure you could add some cool variations of the animated suits. All i want atm is to be able to play with the ultimate suit

I was happy for the update for Spider-Man 2 the suits are cool but some are a not and I am finally happy with swapping the parry that really made my day but Insomniac still haven’t fixed the iron spider suit out of the film I’m disappointed about that but I hope there will be another update and then release the dlc if they do it or not
