I’m still driving my 2011 Soul. Love it. Still looks new. Runs beautifully. It’s spacious and plenty of head room for a 6’ 1” guy like me.

Just got my 2023 soul in Mars Orange. Very nice, I love the color and it has vastly improved from the 2020. I got the base LX but I still got a bigger touchscreen display, digital dash display, driving aids, indicator lights on the mirrors, better led lights and a quieter and smoother ride. I only has about 6000 miles on my previous LX so it was like new. I noticed the quieter cabin and smoother ride right away. I also noticed the AC was much quicker to cool and more powerful. And of course it's as fun as ever to drive. If they keep improving them I'll keep buying a soul. We've already got a big SUV so it's cool to have another smaller vehicle with better gas milage that's fun and peppy to drive. Little cars usually handle better 😉 Highly recommended for what you get for the $$ and the front wheel drive even is pretty decent in the snow thanks to some generous clearance underneath.

The new soul looks great and has some improved features. Kia seems to be the only car company still committed to this squared-off hatchback style that was popular several years ago. Side note, the girl showing the car is the cutest ever!

Don't be tempted to turn off lane keep assist. Hello, please explain how you have the 8” screen and turn key starter in a EX? The EX comes standard with a 10.5” display.. I’m very confused on this model.

I would love to have that car but in a blue color. I have the 2016 Kia Soul plus 2.1 liter. I also just learned you can lower that piece in the trunk to make a little more room. I love the fold down seats in mine as well. I love the touch screen in the newer models too. Also the color of my Kia is Caribbean blue.

@Kia Hyundai Channel Is the SOUL EX still priced at $24,495 + Tax and licensing (so ~$29,000?) I love it but I wish Canada could have the Green colour and the black roof as the USA models have.

It's too bad they got rid of the turbo versions. It'd be great if they come out with an EV or Hybrid versions.

dang... kia soul is the greatest car ever. I already have my dream car its 2018 + but dont mind an upgrade in the future hopefully we rev up an upgrade in horsepower and we should be straight! ✌dang that car looks good.

Thanks for the info and tour of this fine car. Did your showroom get fogged in? Take a look at the video around 12:04, can barley see the gauges. Maybe someone is breathing on the lenses. lol Please considered a move to higher quality camera, the shot of the car's paint is lost on this equipment and that's a shame. I would love to see more video and more detail of the featured cars. Thanks for providing this content and love the channel.

I love the car, it's one of the cars I'm considering buying in the future. One thing I think you should have recorded the video at night or get a better camera. While you were inside the car everything looked washed out and hard to see.

Finally....a real spare tire. I got stranded once in my 2018 Soul that only had the fix a flat and tire pump. My flat was a punctured side wall. Had to replace the tire.

Love it as a value proposition, very substantal for the money. Our 2019 is superb. I think the new front is a little goofy, but so are many these days. I wonder if I would miss our 2019's crisp 'real' six speed transmission? WHY can't this be offered as a hybrid? They could really cut into the enviro Prius niche.

Is it normal for the touch screen to be hot but touchable when driving 2 plus hrs also the phone charger hot as well?

In 2020 we replaced our aging Honda Element EX with a Kia Soul GT Line and it has been marvelous. Good fuel economy, excellent ride quality, excellent fit and finish, oodles of head and legroom, more than sufficient carrying capacity (especially with the rear seats folded down and it is actually fun to drive. 😃. If I would have understood how much we would like the Soul I would have purchased two. I just wish it were available as an EV using Kia's GMP platform.

How is it on wet pavement , snow and mountain driving? Does it come in turbo?

Do you know if any of the Kia models come w/panaramic sunroof, heated rear seats, or the mood lighting that Kia Soul was known for? The 2015 Kia Soul exclaim was awesome. I haven’t seen heated rear seats in a Kia since. It would be so cool if the Kia Soul had reclining/sliding backseats and rear sunshades and ceiling vents too,

ok, I have a 2023 kia soul EX... it does not have heated steering wheel. And the center console buttons are all across the bottom, not on the side like you show. Don't get it?

I would describe the headlights as an angel wing.

Grill's huge. Really hoping they do the EV version right. Also skeptical of strength and spread of high beam lights. I dig the scythe shape for the front daytime/blinkers though! Finally, also hopeful the EV (prob executive trim) will have new Niro EV style gear dial, cluster and infotainment. Here in Europe the little guy will have a lot of stiff competition and will need to look a bit more modern. Cheers Gabi!

Well I have a question , I am getting the white EX trim premium package . I don’t know If that’s the same as premium plus or is it just premium ? Also doesn’t the EX premium come with the 10.25 screen? Is it a 8 inch screen for the basic ex?

@gabi I’ve heard Canada 🇨🇦 hasn’t had the Soul Turbo in the past, but in the USA 🇺🇸 they’re not issuing a 2023 Turbo trim for the Soul; do you know if this is just temporary perhaps due to supply chain issues or is Kia permanently discontinuing the Soul Turbo?

would you happen to know if the gt-line still has a heads up display? i cannot find any information regarding the HUD on a 2023 gt-line in canada. Also, is the 10.25 inch screen found in the higher trim levels wireless carplay as well? i know in the past the 10.25 used to only be wired but in the USA (where they have already received a few gt-lines) a dealer friend of mine told me that it does in fact have wireless carplay for this model year so i was hoping you guys would know if they do

Soul is a good car, but like other manufacturers, Kia makes odd choices (at least in the US): The black roof with white body is only available on the S trim, for example. Also, the folding cargo floor doesn't come included on (at least) the LX and S trim. It's just odd. Good car for the money and lots of tech is included.

I have driven KIA products since 2003 and would still have one if the local dealer was more customer friendly.

Peter used post more videos on Hyundai vehicles as well. But now its more (or rather completely) KIA vechles and its videos. Given the channel name is 'Kia Hyundai Channel', I expect to see more videos on Hyundai Vehicles as well.
