Agreed, for sure it's more them delivering on the promise around some pretty loose language of (paraphrasing here) "having AI in Bubble" that they made last year at BubbleCon. But, I can understand (a) their desire to just get something out there and (b) how the first iteration of any advanced system might look.

I hear you, on the surface it seems like we won't have to build interfaces anymore. As much as I personally wish that were the case, we're very far from that. How far in terms of months or years? It depends on the resources Bubble puts into it. It sounds like you've been given quite the opportunity though to level up an understanding of which skills are worth investing in. Meaning, which skills will stand the test of time? It's only an opinion but building skills around fundamental principles such as (1) solving user problems via interfaces and (2) clear thinking for programming to me seem to have longer value. And if your last 6 months have led you to consider why you're placing which items where on the screen, you're actually doing great 🙌!
