The first time the thanator attack me in kinglor forest was scary man!..the screen edge go white and your characters heart beats faster and faster the closer you get to the thanator then it jumps and kills you...!!

I really enjoy the concept of the trading favour for goods - it makes “real world” sense. You scratch our backs, we’ll scratch yours. But it also makes me giggle that you help some random member of the clan find someone, and a third random clan member will just give you clothes or food or whatever for it 😂

Loving the game. Feels like FarCry meets Halo. Graphics are amazing. The moment you go into the open world feels amazing. You see the environment and you can’t believe they pulled it off. Then you move and it sinks in that this is very real. The movement feels great and there are so many things in the environment that amplify all movement. So far one of the most fun games I’ve played.

Pro tip, remember the position for most plants and it’s always that same direction to pull pristine plants if that makes sense. Example if it requires you to have thumb stick Aimed to the bottom right then for that plant it will always be the bottom right.

Picked up Avatar Frontiers of Pandora on PS5 and man the graphics are absolutely stunning! It’s the first game since Horizon Forbidden West that has blown me, the world of Pandora is so lush, the natural environment, lighting is top notch. Flying around on the Ikran is a treat, Far Cry Primal is one of my all time favorite games and Avatar Frontiers of Pandora captures the vibe of that game perfectly. 😊

One thing to add as well, donating bows and gear that you craft gives more favor than the items singularly in my experience. So if you have enougg materials to give away, just craft something with the stuff before donating it

best weapons rn imo is heavy bow and shotgun. I use heavy bow for almost every enemy, usually one-two shots any mech, and one shots infantry, but I like it cause I prefer stealth in outposts and facilities. Shotguns on your ikran against their weak spots will make clean work against any heli. Also in no.8 you say your ikran will auto feed when going over fishing spots, it only does that once you've acquired that respective skill in your riding tree.

Great video as I am really struggling with this game. Especially the outposts, once I am spotted I get savaged by about 6 mechs, I also find the map and icons confusing and never seem to know where I am going or what to do

Yea the map is definitely weird it confuses me too but you can customize the difficulty so you can pick easy medium or hard or custom and make the enemies do less damage and make yourself do more or less. I chose hard then turned up my out going damage up one so I still get killed fast and still have a challenge but it doesn’t also take 20 arrows to kill one mec. Also for taking down bases stealth is your best friend fighting head in early game even in the lowest difficulty is a death sentence just go very very slow and hit the weak spots on their back to take them out in one shot

I’m new to it too and struggling a bit. My biggest suggestion is like the person above said, in the settings you can change the difficulty AND how much damage they do. It might come in handy especially for that first face off. Also if you make the bomb/ grenade arrow that will help you loads! Keep in mind it’s hard to find some of the parts to make them (the spare parts) so use it sparingly and as efficiently as you can. If you aim it in between several of the suits it’ll do a number on them, but you will probably need to finish them off with arrows. Hope this helps!

For the maps I found out when you look at the quest if it doesn’t show a distance next to the objective that means it has no marker and you have to find it yourself but if you see 8.9km then that means it should have a light blue marker then I also like to set a waypoint to where the objective is so you can see it on the hud at the top and don’t have to use navi sense to see the objective

Once you upgrade your long bow enough you can one shot scorpions and choppers as well as amp suits so. I haven't left the kinglor Forrest yet and I'm half way through lvl 9 and got some decent gears. But finding the exquisite materials is very beneficial.

Don’t make my mistake and assume you can skip health upgrades by going for bellsprigs. The bells only give you 3 points per plant. That might add up but you will be having a bad time if you think they will keep you alive for a long time.

The ancestors skill that insside the tree is polluted and the only way to get it is to unpollute the area and that area is a level 20 base highly secure too

With the sidequest thing, what do you mean do them from the map? Is there some way to accept them there? Because most settlements say New Quest Available even though I'm SURE I ran all over and talked to every random NPC, it drives me insane lol

I have a question? Do you know how to get better equipment? May be in the video but I mean I’m stuck at level 7 and crafted everything as it’s most valued option and still level 7. I have over 100 scraps only 1 RDA recourse. And need to do the story which is past level 7 but in order to do the story have to do stealthily or I’ll be absolutely destroyed. If you have a video spot put the time stamp. Or explain either one will help.

I need help with an issue. I put my deluxe items in my storage once the were underleveled and went to my mail to see what I missed and claimed them again thinking they were different items but now I'm stuck with duplicate gear I can't contribute or drop. Don't need the duplicates taking up space in inventory.

you’re supposed to remember how to pick them or atleast do it right based on slow and gentle movements. Try it a few times and you’ll get used to it. Its personally my favourite thing, really feels less like playing a game and more like really interacting with the world

Toruk, toruk makto is the title of the rider. And it makes no sence for us to ride it because 1. Jake is toruk makto and is linked with it and 2. We are from a different tribe, a diplomatic one which means we are already important in their culture since we are the last of the tribe.

We cant mount them as the same reason why we cant mount other creatures. Because they are to wild or to feral they wil not trust you whats however or see you as food. I would also love to tame that black panter killer beast that runs after you and kills you with one shot. But sadly we cant for the above reason. They are not ment to tame because story maker says so.

Yes camps you cleared are gonna be taken over again in some time. And there are daily and weekly missions to warn special coins to buy items from the store for no cost.

A good way to do this is to also look in the hunters guide for the best region to find them in, if you harvest specific materials in the best regions that are specified in the hunters guide you will usually find rarer versions

I wish that these games would give you the option to NOT play in first person mode. Especially these ultra realistic games, it just causes vertigo for so many people. Don't know why they limit their player base this way.

But give others the option to scroll out. Like I said, there are MANY people who get motion sick from being in first person so why limit your player base like that?

I generally avoid Ubisoft games, I personally find them dull. But I went for Avatar... and I have to say that the slightly altered Ubisoft formula with Avatar mechanics and a beautiful world to explore is really keeping me interested. I don't regret my purchase at all. Is it GOTY? No, but it is entertaining and has a unique world to explore

I'm a bit disappointed with this game. I thought it was going to be horizon 1 and 2, but with better graphics. I've been counting the days down until I could play, only to find navigation confusing, with very little to help you. Also having 2 really annoying timed quests. I'm really hoping there won't be many. I have always hated timed events in games. They put so much beauty in this game, it's a shame we had to run right past it all because we only had a couple of minutes. I like to take my time with a game, explore, discover new things and either fight all in or stealthy from a vantage point. This game had me running as fast as I could through the beautiful greenery, just to get to the next quest. I hope it isn't a running theme through the whole game. At present, I'd give it a 5 out of 10 and that's just for the graphics.

1) you can change the difficulty of exploration if it's too hard for you. 2) the timed events worked within the narrative of the game to build a sense of urgency in an emergency situation. it wouldn't make any sense to let you go pluck plants while your base is getting attacked. there will be plenty of time later on to explore as much as you want. you're barely 2 hours into the game at this point.

In the 8 hours I've played so far, I've only had a couple timed events. I think you'll have plenty of time to take in the beauty. You can also turn on guided mode if you're having trouble navigating. I've run into a couple small spots where I got a bit turned around, but I think you just have to learn the games visual language, pay attention to the location description, and use focus.

I had the same problem to i reload the game , and begin al over , take me 1 hour or less to get to the missing hunter quest, and it worked for me now i am furter in the game
