I call YaoYao "the key," because when the wenut first appeared in the abyss, i needed a dendro unit as well as a healer. She filled the slot for both roles and she's the reason i managed to clear that abyss. Shes now one of my favourite characters and use her in every abyss run

Just to clarify something about Ayato's BiS artifact set: in a perfect world where you have 0 ping, Echoes of an Offering will be better but not by much. In reality it's just better to go with what you already have and what makes your build more balanced (Gladiator, Hearth of Depth, Nymph's Dream or even 2pc2pc). Unfortunetly your account is kinda new, so it's hard to have good Gladiator Pieces, so it's just better to strongbox one of his artifact sets and pray to roll on good stats. Also, if you pretend to build a character that uses Blizzard Strayer, you could farm Hearth of Depth for Ayato too!

as someone that reads more in English than in my native language I absolutely agree with your view on the topic. I started reading in eng years ago because I'm a fantasy reader and here in Italy it takes so long to translate and publish books so I decided to start reading in English. i began with a romance (which I 100% recommend as a genre) because differently from fantasy books I couldn't get confused with the world building and the neologisms that characterizes the genre, also I would suggest to use a kindle or your phone to read in English since you can easily translate the words that you don't understand. It took me some time but with the reading and the videos/anime/tv series I now consume more content in English than in Italian and I definitively improved my vocabulary 🩷

The thing that helped me expand my lexicon was videogames (when I was just learning), youtubers (when I was a little bit more advanced), and last fanfiction, some of them had advanced words and I had to had another window open with Google translate XD. My favourite word that I learn from there is "fondly", sounds so sweet xd

Can you even use yaoyao since you didn't pull her? If you decide to use her she has quite high burst cost (80) so i would put a ER sands on her. Also the new fontaine craftable spear is really good for her!!

My English is not my first language either. I started reading because I wanted to read books in English too but I didn't understand so I started reading little children's books and raised the level little by little. Now I can read the books I wanted with no problem!

as someone who speaks three languages (due to growing up in a trilingual house hold), the best way i can suggest to lewrn lajguages is to watch shows from your native language in english with subtitles of the language you speak. it helped me s lot with english

Hey kat, I'm not sure if this was cleared last video, but didn't you say at the start of the series you can only use characters you've pulled for? As in, you can't use the starter characters unless you have their constellations. I just wanted to ask if the situation with getting Yao Yao during lantern rite was cleared or not, many thanks ❤

I love yaoyao and she is HP scaling. Even if she's targeting your character to heal, it still has aoe dendro application to the enemies and vice versa, so damage to the enemeies will heal you if youre standing close enough. I do also love Baizhu but he needs more on field time for good dendro application

English is my first language but in learning French this school year. One homework I had to do was write a seven sentence paragraph about someone or a character. I love the sentence i had to look up words for: Il est un petit mac bête(bête was the less mean word to call someone silly/stupid)

Also a few episodes ago when u challanged spiral abyss u used ayato as main dps instead of fischl breaking another rule of yours. i'm a native english speaker and honestly the book thing is real and smart. when i was younger and still learning words, whenever i would read there were words i didn't know and in class we were taught to learn the definition by using context of the sentence and words around it, so your doing great and your english will definitely improve that way.

As an English speaker born and raised. I can barely understand English myself like the pronunciation of them so I pronounce it wrong until someone tells me how to correct it. So I gaslight people into thinking this made up word is an actual word when I read fantasy books.

Give ayato heart of depth. It’s much superior to gladiator 4pc. Where you get 7k-8k damage for ayato on 4pc gladiator, you’ll get 10k-16k easily on same stats on 4pc heart of depth. Saying this from experience as I have Ayato too.

Same girl samee... I can't speak English fluently, but literally. My talk style be like: just know few words and keep spamming them contionusly. And also I constantly have to pause and find "that" word to continue speaking. An exact situation happenned just a min ago. My vocabulary is so limited that I even realized much later that the meaning of the word fantabulous is "fantastic"... I mean ughh... And problem is not just finishing there. When my attempts to try learning english, I lost vocabulary on my native language too... So I think now I'm a 🌟N O L I N G U A L🌟

Yo, Pro tip, when describing things, just say some random noun and it'll work trust like when getting a good artifact just say "Wow, Its like a turkey sandwhich"

I'm super sorry for writing an "akshully 🤓☝🏻" but in the rules of the series it says, "2. Only use characters you pulled for - exception: you can use starter characters while doing archon quests" Yaoyao??? Side note: the only stat hyperbloom em kuki needs is elemental mastery, no hp, er, and absolutely no crit Same with yaoyao, she only needs hp and er and literally nothing else. These particular supports need no crit at all. For ayato weapons, the isshin passive is completely useless, so I recommend actually levelling up harbinger of dawn, a 3-star, since its better. Farming the gilded domain for the rest of the week is a bad idea because kuki already has a 4 pc set with triple em??? that's literally all she needs??? I saw a couple good deepwood pieces you threw out because it has no crit, but yaoyao, kirara, baizhu, whoever, don't need crit. Just thought I'd point out that crit isn't everthing.

Concerning you perfecting your english through books, I would give the advice of starting with picture books (mangas, comics) to help your understanding of what's written with the pictures. Then, yound adult/pre-teen books. In general, those have a simpler vocabulary, and shorter sentences, so you can just do the understanding in small parts. And the thing that help me best : never give up, take a damn dictionnary next to you and refer to it every time you need. It'll be very long and feel frustrating, but you'll get there! (I allow myself to give such advices because I read a fantasy books about priests and destiny in spanish. I knew very little spanish at the time)

I think your vocabulary is just fine. Genshin is just too repetitive and it's really hard to make it interesting. Obviously, you can always improve your english. However, it's genshin's fault that you can't find anything to say in your videos

Don't bother refining Iron Sting, it's passive doesn't work for hyperbloom and is wasted on anyone except Alhaitham really :/

English is also not my native language and I used to have the same problems with reading until I discovered fanfiction. Stories usually keep me engaged enough to continue reading even if they are difficult to understand. Now I can read 800k+ words work in a week...

Filler episodes i wouldn't mind like just farming or exploration or grinding with just chatting would be fun, and for kuki just go for EM, crit stats don't matter a lot for her, and i understand you don't want to get nahida in the acc but she is really got for tighnari support. first of all you should put Tighnari, Fischl and Kuki at level 90 because hyperbloom damage is based on level

for kuki in "hyperbloom" specifically, you dont need to refine iron sting. Refining it will increase the electro based damage that her ring inadvertly deals, but i dont thik it would be a worth while investment, considering that there are better swords thtat you can use billet on(like Sapwood blade or even amenoma or the latest fontaine craftable sword)

havent finished the vid and not sure if anyone else has said this already but, definitely do not refine that em sword for shinobu and save the billets because that dmg increase you get is just wasted on both her and kazuha. always fun to watch another pulls only! I prefer using Yao Yao in bloom teams or Dendro teams with no healer (for example teams without a Kuki) and use Yao Yao as a solo healer!

Flowers of paradise lost is only about a 5% increase in hyperbloom damage over gilded so it is pointless to farm. Well unless you are also farming a set for Wanderer at the same time. It'll be nice when the set gets added to the strongbox.

You make the call at the end of the day, but i feel like you shouldnt use Yaoyao since it wasn't from a pull on the banners but a free one. But like i said it's your call
