If you're still in Barbados on Christmas Day, then you should visit Queen's Park in the morning. We have a big FREE celebration there. The Barbados Police Service Band plays music in the gazebo. Scores of Barbadians come out in our best clothes. It's like a fashion parade. Lots of visitors attend just to experience the music and the ambience. I think it starts around 8 AM.

Every Christmas we have a tree lighting ceremony in Bridgetown to mark the start of the Xmas season. The children from the secondary and primary schools make the decorations and decorate the trees themselves.

That's SO cool, Christmas trees representing the Various countries. VERY nice. I 💓 Barbados, it's one of my favourite Caribbean Island, Peaceful, friendly, laid back ppl. African Tigress, ppl outside of Africa can't tell the different African Accents. You guys sound the same to us😊 VANATU is an Island in South Pacific Islands. WOW!!

I am from Barbados 🇧🇧 and when I went to Ghana 🇬🇭, I was repeatedly asked if I am Asante. I'm not sure if I am Asante.

Of course we look like you lol. Our ancestors were taken from "Modern-day" West Nigeria (Igbo), Central Ghana "Gold Coast" (Ashanti), Benin and Togo. Fanti, Ewe, Edo, Ga, Agamin and Yodohobo tribes. We are a mixture of all of these different peoples, but mostly Ashanti 🇬🇭 and Igbo 🇳🇬

Hey Sis, on one of your previous video you mention that, you would love to travel to the United States Virgin Islands and that you don't have a visa. There is a US embassy in Bridgetown Barbados. It is where back in the day you would have to go to get your Green Card etc, if you live in the Caribbean region.You maybe able to acquire a temporary one, just for the US Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico while you are still there.
