What a beautiful version of this song. Reminds me of Jeff Buckleys version of Hallelulia in that it is refreshingly different from the original. Where can I hear more of Kate Smith? I am planning on visiting Liverpool for a w/e soon.
This is beautifully shot, but 80% of the shots could be anywhere in the world. I didn't feel like there was a distinct 'Liverpool' signature to the piece. I'm not sure what I was to take away from watching this?
Love Liverpool, hate litter! If we dream of a utopian Liverpool where all neighborhoods and people have great opportunities then we all have to raise our game further and challenge some of the bad habits we still have. Please don't say everywhere else is the same - we deserve the best but it starts with us becoming the best - if we want it we have to earn it.
It's not really showing all of what Liverpool has to offer.. Not a sign of any of the famous sights, the Cathedrals, Liver Building, Penny Lane, or anything like that. As someone else said, it could rightly be anywhere else in the world.
the strong focis on the cultural offer somewhat diminishes the message to the audience that really matters which is the business sector. I know its hard to show everything in 2 mins but may be Vision should at doing more for the Knowledge Sector and the Business service sector that builds on what has already been done here ...in the same style maybe?
@v1de0junk13 I would love to but my film making skills aren't really up to scratch! But the Liverpool I know and love isn't as classy or serene as this, so I guess my film would be more upbeat and a little more rough around the edges! I also love the cultural diversity of the city so I'd like to see this feature in the film
This is not a conventional marketing campaign. It's an idea that aims to reinforce and embrace the creative and entrepreneurial spirit of the city??? So why show so many cafes?
