Been riding bike for 40 years and kind of feel dumb for asking this but on the opening clip what kicked the rear wheel to the side?I don't see what exactly happened.
watched it a bunch because i thought the same but it seems like he pedal strikes his right foot into that taller part of exposed stump. Pedal strikes usually kick the back end violently out to the opposite side of the strike. to me, anyway. you can also hear it. hard force metal on wood.
man i watched it like 50 times. ha. someone trackside says ‘lucky days’ or something. that was trying to be so gnarly. my eyes would be bugging out of my head.
Course is looking dry. Id rather ride in the wet, then dusty dry like that. The corners get marble like rocks in them, and the brown powder is like grease.
man BK runs a stiff bike. seems harsh and skittery. i know the top half of the track needs it but damn. his bike would kill me. he seems to like it though.
women are in the beginning sections of the video. vali, rachel, tahnee, more. they run the earlier b practice sesh w/ juniors and other elite men. these were the first runs for elites. jrs. had first day of training yesterday.
