i’m pretty sure that what she meant by “painted on you” is that she put the pants on the any painted over the pants. they didn’t paint on their actual skin, we would’ve been able to tell in the movie.

I'm an artist trying to make a living off of jackets I hand paint one of a kind designs on. I've invested over 30 hours into a single jacket, meticulously painting on intricate designs. Sometimes I feel like it's pointless, then I see a hand painted skirt being compared to custom jewelry and tailored outfits and I tear up a little, feeling a little more sure of myself. This is just such a powerful and amazing reminder my art and effort is with while.
But why did they have to make them look so cheesy. Some of the pieces are beautiful, but a lot of them feel like wasted talent :( The costumes were my biggest pet peeve because they looked so cheap.
@@kawaiielephant7772 I agree. Especially Audrey’s costume in Descendants 3. Her evil Queen costume was fire. But the pink, modernized Aurora dress was very cheap faux leather looking.
@@pizza134 It's just all too colorful in a cheap looking way. They look like kids costume clothes. The wigs I think are what really does it for me. They make the rest of the outfits just blah
i feel like a bigger budget would’ve made it so much easier bc then you could make better quality clothing that doesn’t need to get fixed every 2 minutes
I really love those dresses a lot .The dresses are so beautiful and I really like the different colors. My favorite dress that Dove Cameron as Mal wears is the fancy purple dress in the second movie of Descendants . I really like the way how the dress moves when Mail spins around .

She'd definitely had a LOT done by this point so you're basically calling her pretty only bc she re-did her entire face before she was even 20 years old
The design of the makeup, hair and outfits should always be praised, but I will never forgive disney for indirectly making the folk who worked on Ever After High cancel their show because of Disney using the same idea but slapping random stuff in it and calling it a day

It looks cheap though, not to be rude, but i kinda assumed the budget was low because of how it looks. Maybe it's on purpose because it's a kids thing.
