Milo dancing while the song is saying "have sex" would go down in history as the best cinematic scene in history. His sick moves is actually a social commentary on society to achieve self fulfillment and be confident in one's self. That scene alone trump's all of marvel's movies
Surprisingly enough, I think you gave Morbius a fair shake more than most would've done, so I think that's something to be proud of. You tried to find the good parts that can be salvaged in the sea of bad stuff.
You know a Marvel movie is gonna be awful when Avi Arad is producing it. He'd rather only promote a movie to sell toys rather than help come up with a good script. Look at the Daredevil and Electra movies, the Fantastic Four movies, Hulk, the Ghost Rider movies, Ghost In The Shell and Uncharted (yes, those last 2 aren't Marvel movies but he still produced them)
Morbuis should've been a horror movie instead of a superhero movie. Instead of making Milo the villain they made Morbuis the villain like he can't control his blood lust and keeps killing people. And every one is after the FBI and a bunch of science corporations trying to experiment on him.

Honestly, this was the only movie that left me feeling like I was only half way through it when the movie ended. I never experienced that before for a film of this budget.

it's morbin' time 🥳 first time i saw the movie was a condensed 3 minute version that was insanely sped up so it's nice to kinda see what actually happened in the movie💀
If they make a sequel and the chances aren't 0% because Venom was the same thing with the Carnage sequel where they leaned in on Venom/Eddie being like an arguing couple, I think they would totally lean in on making Morbius more cheesy. But the major problem is, Leto and his Morbius character, it worked for Venom because Tom Hardy and Venom have nice rapport. Leto in this movie spends all the time being kind of brooding with some hints of being snarky like when he pretends to be burned by the sun or freaking out those counterfeit guys while breaking their bones. I would not be opposed for Matt Smith's character to be resurrected for whatever reason, because he was really the standout part of this movie, he hams it up, he's chewing up the scene and having fun.
I loved your ideas of how this movie could’ve been better. You were spot on! They needed to lean into the emo aesthetics more and honestly, even tho I’m not a fan of gore, I do think that would’ve added more drama and shock value to the story. It felt anticlimactic without it.
