Time to let my wife stick needles in my stomach! That's right, it's our first day of IVF stims. We are going to be doing two injections every evening through our IVF (in vitro fertilization) protocol to try to make lots of good-quality eggs!
I thought I was going to be so tough and take the needles like a champ. I didn't expect to cry so much! (I cut out the 7:30 minutes of me sobbing because no one needs to see that). I was so scared as soon as Allie went to inject the first injection into my stomach. Then I felt silly because it was so painless, but then I got scared again for the second one which actually did end up hurting. Only 9 (ish days to go I guess!)
Thank you for following along on our ttc journey to make a baby! Two ladies making a baby is definitely more complicated and expensive, but we're so excited to become moms!
