Neon fixtures! KBShimmer creams are so good and their pricing has stayed relatively affordable. I don’t mind doing three coats, I’d rather that than a chalky Wite-Out formula.
Your swatches and full mani shots all look great imo! You make it look easy to capture neons. Even though it's not feeling like summer yet where I live, I love bright colors and I don't limit myself to seasonal wearing, so I love to see neons!
Thank you! Not included in the video was the amount of 😤🤬I did while looking at a swatch wheel trying to color correct these. Every year I want neon season to start and then I remember what a pain they are getting to show up 🤣
Omg this thumbnail is too cute!! Makes me happy. Also, I really appreciate you for giving beginner tips consistently. It's really comforting, and I always learn more. ❤😎
I’m really happy the reviews are helpful to you! I try to write down any thoughts and tips I have on application in my notes so I remember to mention them
Thank you! I've been waiting for someone to do a video on this collection! I've never bought a full neon collection, but there's something about the color scheme of this collection that speaks to me. Definitely picking it up! And oof that topper 😍🤩
You’re very welcome! Neons (and full rainbow 😂) are probably most my frequented type of “yeah I’m just gonna buy them all”’ finish to buy full collections
You can stick to the no buy! I find reminding myself that everything gets duped and I can probably find it in a destash later if it sells out super helpful at sticking to no buys. I literally just found one of my ISOs from almost a decade ago recently!
I’m planning on doing some comparisons on Cirque’s upcoming Vice collection to this release! I always look forward to the Vice collection and this year’s looks so good!
Congratulations on sticking to your no buy!!! I’m happy for you to be sticking to it! 👏🏾 All polishes get duped eventually so don’t feel fomo over these 💜
Great review, I love all your memes and how honest you are. I love KBShimmer but this collection is incredibly similar to one I Already have from ILNP, so I'll prolly skip. I do like that topper tho, it's fun!
Beautiful polishes but just received NOL neon jellies & have NOL neon cremes on the way. Not usually a neon girl but looking fwd to playing with designs. TFS 😊
Those new NOL neon jellies look SO good! I have been trying to convince myself that I don’t need them but I sure do want them. Their cremes are A+ too, I have a bunch of them
It’s hard for cool colors to be true “neons.” I accept bright as a substitute. If you hadn’t said there were stars in that topper, I wouldn’t have noticed. KB Shimmer has the advantage of quantity and we can use the discount code on Beyond Polish. I’m holding out to see what Cirque has. BTW: You need the Cracked Polish black topper to compare. Tell Wayne you’re doing it for us!! P.S. You look cool in the glasses, but I think Sassy needs to try them!
Ughh nooo I shouldn’t buy another one 😂 I had Sweet & Sour Lacquer make me one because I couldn’t find a black flake that was scratching my itch. I think I might end up getting the one from Rogue during the next sale for science too 😅
Thank you for such a wonderful and helpful review! I love how you gave a disclaimer of how hard they are to accurately photograph. I couldn’t tell from pics on kb shimmer’s IG if they were really neons or just bright and colorful and your review confirmed what I wanted to know. (I was hoping they were neons!) I understand completely the struggle of photographing neon polishes 😂
I feel like every year I convince myself that buying more neons is completely rational because the ones from years past are likely faded thus different from their non-faded counterparts 🤡
Since you mentioned that some of these are more crelly leaning... Would you compare them to the Dress to Krill formula? Are any of them the typical kbshimmer cream formula?
This is possibly a stupid question but as someone who doesn’t have pale skin, I don’t know what it’s like to have pale skin so apologies if this is dumb (or hopefully not offensive!) I had thought that neons make light/pale skin looked tanned? Is that not the case? I always hear lighter skin tone folks say how neons make them looked tanned so I thought that was a thing.
@@NicoleLovesNails Not an offense or stupid question at all! I think it's because of my undertone, it does make me look sorta tan but in a bad way because tan for me is like a freshly boiled lobster? So my skin looks bright coral? Neons bring out this orangey pink undertone. I am working to swatch my entire collection so I will tag you when I get to some of the neons so you can see what I mean.
Ok stop the traffic 🚦⛔!!! I'm new here, & can I just say the RU-vid gods made my algorithm gift me this morning with your videos. I'm from 🇰🇪 super super duper obsessed with nail polish 💅🏾!!! But I love doing my own nails. I have to ask are these your real nails, if so how do you get them so strong? My nails keep breaking 😢 it really sucks especially when I've saved them to try on polish only to just break 💔 and have me start over. I also have locs, almost 2 years in. I'm so glad I found you. In another Life we'd be besties 🤗🌞💚, you're literally a girl after my own heart. All my fav things. Do you have a Pinterest? I'd love to pin some of your nail colours. I wish I could get souch great nail polish here.
Heey! Welcome to the channel! I’m happy to have you here 💜 Yes these are my natural nails. I have a very thin clear hard gel overlay on them. I have found that my current shape is a lot less prone to breaks than having the square/squoval shape. I highly recommend doing oil soaks (I use jojoba oil) on your nails so that the oil soaks into your nails and that helps make them stronger too. Dry nails are more prone to breaks. I’m Nicole Loves Nails over on Pinterest. Although tbh I don’t update it nearly often enough 🙈. On my blog, NicoleLovesNails.com I have a plugin so that all of my swatch photo images can be added to pinterest with one click though!
@@NicoleLovesNails hey Nicole thanks so much for responding 💅🏾💚🫂 I have a couple of questions, first I have to say I totally agree. I also noticed the same thing, when I shaped my nails in the coffin shape, they always break and chip on the corners, but since doing the round shape, it seems to be holding steady🤷🏾♀️. Could you kindly elaborate what you mean by an oil soak? Like how do I do that? And maybe how I can also go about a gel overlay. Do you do it yourself at home? If so how? I'll check out the blog. Maybe pin some stuff
