There is a difference in singing a song in a language or speaking the language. Dimash learns how to sing the song not knowing the language. But yes, today his Chinese and English speaking did become much better.

Yup this is a young man with a mission, a vision and FIERCE DEDICATION TO HIS CRAFT THAT HE WILL ALLOW NOTHING ELSE TO INTERFERE WITH, not even romance. He drew a picture at the age of 4, quite detailed of himself on stage with instruments and told his parents he wants to sing on world stages. He was accepted into the premier music school in his town after being taken there by his grandmother at the age of 5. He was the youngest student ever accepted. He never drinks because it will harm his voice he said in an interview, no drugs, and he's only been in a night club twice. He lives with his parents who were both big professional singing talents in their own right. He is extremely close to them and to his grandparents who raised him both of whom also have singing experience. In fact he comes from a large musical family. There is footage of Dimash interacting with his Dad, and I have never seen such a close loving affectionate connection between a father and son. He lives at home at the age of 27. When asked in an interview about this he said "of course I still live at home" for he is most happy with his family. On his recent 27th birthday on May 24th he was asked if he would do anything "special" and he said what he wants to do is enjoy sitting, talking and having tea with his parents - that is his way of a happy birthday. This is the example of total laser dedication. Talent yes, but talent is nothing without extreme dedication and devotion to it's development....he has 2 master degrees in music and studies all kinds of singers to learn from them. Oh and I agree, wow to have that talent, that level of conscious awareness of it and determined sense of purpose at the age of 4, and to be so physically beautiful at 6ft 3inches, perfect face, skin, hair, body, voice.....God really poured it all out into this one!

The list I have could be out of date. He has been singing since he was 5 years old and taught in an extremely careful manner as young singers with vocal teachers that do not know what they are really doing can destroy a young child's vocal ability within a couple of years. Because his mother is a professional opera singer and his father is also a professional singer, they traveled a lot for their own careers. Dimash's Grandmother would often take Dimash to singing classes even though she was elderly and suffered a lot of pain. However, together, Dimash' parents and his Grandmother ensured he received the best vocal education possible. He continued to sing at a performing high school, he earned his bachelor's degree in Opera and went on to get a second bachelor's degree at another University in Jazz and Pop Music and a Broadway Musical Course. He went on to earn a Master's Degree in Composition with a perfect score and a recommendation to enter into a Doctorate Program. Dimash can play 7 instruments. He has sung in 13 languages (Kazakh,(his native tongue), Russian, English, Mandarin Chinese, Italian, French, Spanish, German, Serbian, Turkish, Ukrainian, Kyrgyz, and Japanese. He speaks Kazakh and Russian fluently, and is studying English and Mandarin. Anyone who has followed Dimash over the last 3-4 years has seen tremendous strides in his ability to speak and sing in English. I think anyone who is American can attest to how difficult it would be to speak many Asian language. I give him a lot of credit to continue practicing and mastering his vocal skills, and learning and mastering new genre - all while continuing to perform, learn to compose and direct his latest video. In one of Dimash's interviews, he said he must sing/practice a minimum of 3 hours a day and even more when he is learning a new song in a new language. Thank goodness he is still young (28 yrs old) and has enough energy to maintain such an intense schedule!

Remember Kazakhstan used to be part of the Soviet Union. In 1991 it became an independent Country in 1991. That’s why he speaks Russian so well. The other thing I love about Dimash is that when he sings a song in another language, he actually knows what he is singing unlike other foreigners who just like a song in English or another language have no clue what they are singing. I love Latin songs and luckily, I do know some Spanish for the most part, I have no idea what the lyrics are but I still love Latin music. Dimash will always be my number one over any singer. Truly humble and talented young man.
I suggest you learn a little about Dimash, his upbringing, hard work, vocal talent sincerity, class and humility (politeness) I have no idea what your cultural background is, but in a public space respectful language will go a long way if you like to be taken seriously. English language is rich in vocabulary. Instead of using the vulgarity of F... word, one presumes you would have had the respect to express yourself in a different mode to match the class of Dimash. One more comment. You asked who these people are. He’s in Russia, singing in Russian Igor writes in Russian therefore must be fluent. It shows ancient warriors fighting. Dimash in the video is crying for the preservation of his holy land. R is a huge democratic country after the USSR spit up . And, while I’m being critical Dimash is using his talents as an ambassador from his country and his country names him as such. Dimash bears the history of Russia’s wars they came and stole their young men of fighting age and raped the land to feed their soldiers. Think about the messages in the songs he picks. If you’ve ever seen one of his concerts, see how the dancers are dressed. And even dimash. They are never provocative. The sleeves come down to the wrist the pants to the ankle. Think about all our pop rock hip hop rap heavy metal metal. Their dress their tatooes their words. I’m not judging I’m came from an environment that did judge. Dimash admires American music and talks about American artist. I don’t want him to change to American values I want him to change the world values with his truth in his words.

Because you’re new to what you’re doing you might not think of this. You have to turn the translation to English on. This is Russia and he’s singing in Russian. Not only that if there is a translation to other languages you might I don’t know for sure if you’re responsible for those too. This is important because you want more subscribers no matter what their native tongue. You have to find this out by asking other reactors or your viewers to help you in the comments. This song was more important than most because Igor the guy that you didn’t like at the end of the sinful passion video because he wasn’t clapping hard enough...well anyways he’s playing the piano and wrote the song.
