I actually really liked this video. I like the conversation about hunting tips and techniques. For example talking about how you usually try to get 3-5 miles out was very helpful! Thanks guys!

I really liked this style of Tube. Peaceful, informative. Ryan does a good job with the Vlog style edit. While I still appreciate all the Yogi bear slow mo shots, and backwards inflatable paddling, this was a perfect addition to your style of channel. Again, great work gents, and thanks for taking us along.

Love the show! Been waiting all week...watching older episodes. I took a nasty fall in a boulder field during my Colorado backpack elk hunt. Nearly ripped my ear off, and bent one of my trekking poles. The hunt was successful, but I could sure use some new trekking poles. I really enjoy seeing the footage of the Seek Outside tent setups. I have been trying to sell my wife on the hot tent system. I like Seek Outside especially since I live on the Western Slope of Colorado, and they are local. I had a high altitude mule deer hunt this year, too, where a hot tent would have been nice. I shot a pretty respectable 4x4 above 12,000 ft. The pack out was no picnic, but at least I had 2 trekking poles at that time!

“We’re 3 miles from the truck. We’re close”. Yeah, boy! The mind of a dedicated, hardcore and motivated hunter. Once you’ve done a multi mile hunt, then you realize that the miles really doesn’t matter. All it takes is time and a strong will. You boys figured that out years ago. Another beautiful ending to a great story.

Every time I watch your videos I think about the adventures and stories you tell. The hunts are epic experiences that being from the Midwest I can’t get enough of. Keep up the education to help us all become better hunter’s and better ambassadors of public land opportunities. It’s hard to explain why something that looks so miserable could be so incredible. Stay Gritty!

Pretty sweet that Ryan had that wide-old buck on film from the prior year! Feedback: love all the knowledge poured out during this film! I could relate to this film; I have a blacktail story were I filmed a buck and found his sheds then finally met up with him, at 8-yards, the following year and was able to make a close up shot with my bow. Cheers!! Nathan Endicott

Excellent video because it's a real part of the hunt. Talking, bantering, helping each other learn, giving out new information to buddies, reviewing old thoughts and hunting wisdom, and more. Brian & Ryan, Another cool video in the series! I like the way you present the content & conversations in this episode. A cool mash-up of conversation and pictures/footage from the hunt that keeps me entertained and invested (Kudos to the editors). I have been following both of you for about a year, going through the podcasts on my morning workouts and the videos time and time again when I need that little extra vision for my motivation. This is a great way to end a video series. It shows the work involved in just walking out and how the works not over until you get home and cook up a meal. It isn't just about the work to find the buck but also the work that comes after. That is just as fun. Great video guys.

I used to think your videos were pretty good, now I think they've become the best hunting vid's out there, by far. I also used to be on the fence about Lampers way back, but he's grown on me to where I really like watching him and enjoy his perspective on all things hunting. You two, three really if you include James, are a great group and in my opinion really setting a new standard with your videos. Lovin' the extra videos with the pack out, hanging out after the hunt cooking etc. Great stuff that shows it's not all about the stalk and kill shot. Keep up what you're doing, I'm sure everybody out here appreciates the work you've put in to these videos, and I'm already looking forward to the next one. P.S. As someone who tries to film his own hunts, I have no idea how you do it this well.

I am a fan of these pack out and cook out type videos. It is a great way to wrap up a hunt series like this with some extra behind the scenes footage, B roll, some more information and storytelling to truly flesh out the story more for the audience. For those of us who don't have any or much experience with back country deer or elk camps to those who have and can relate it is nice content. Plus who doesn't love a great cook out with you buddies and or family? I know I do especially when it is fresh and from something that you took the time and spend the energy to harvest. Definitely doesn't get more organic than that. You all are raising the bar for wildlife filmography while also lower the hurdle for new hunters and inspiring us all to use more GRIT and go for it. Congrats to the winner of the Crispi Boots, what a great paragraph that fully expresses what he thinks and feels about what he is experiencing while watching your Gritty FILMS. A 14 Wide coming my way would have been sweet, but happy for him. I have been on Parler and definitely agree with the assessment, sadly I don't have many handles from people I know or those whom I follow in the industries that I am interested in. Some political pundits, but that is it until now with you and Ryan/Hillary. Definitely Pro 2A, Pro 1A and Pro Public Lands with clean air and clean water, etc... Definitely looking for the next one with Ryan's daughter getting her first buck, I can tell from the trailer how excited she was and how happy and proud everyone else is. We all remember our first with our parent or child and that is a special moment to share. Just like last season with Anthony's son getting that bull elk. So cool. Thanks for sharing and Stay Gritty

Great film series. I really enjoyed this episode even without the hunting. Just listening to Ryan describing how you all go about your hunts and what helps you succeed is worth watching. You guys are a wealth of knowledge and I appreciate the hard work you all put into these hunts and these films. The quality of the footage, the crispness and clarity of the cinematography, the editing, everything really, is second to none as far as I'm concerned. It truly feels like i'm watching a big budget production instead of a youtube hunt vid. I enjoy a handful of other folks' hunting channels as well, but something about your films really puts you guys over the others. Love the content, I enjoy seeing the pack out and some cooking content, your films are a great balance of great production and not feeling over produced like so many hunting shows!

Great video! Great show guys. I look forward to this every week. I love the intro music!! I love living vicariously through you guys. I’m an above the knee amputee and these long hard back pack hunts are not in the cards for me anymore but I most certainly enjoy watch you guys!! Keep it up!!

I enjoy the stalk and the harvest as much as anyone. But there is tremendous value in listening to two very experienced and successful hunters just talk about what they've learned and mistakes they've made. I appreciate you deviating a little bit and narrating in the field. We get to see tricks you learned and equipment in use which better prepares us for our days in the field. Love what you're doing, keep it up.

Another great film Brian. It’s good to see more in a hunting film then just the stock and kill; when it comes down to it the people you hunt with brings the memories. However, if I was a certain young lady I’d been getting on Uncle Gritty’s back for making me wait to show all yours and Ryan’s great followers my first buck and film debut. Keep up with all the entertaining and educational materials you provide.

Great podcasts!! I love the Gritty Podcasts. I always walk away learning something new or a different way of doing things. I like how you guys post what equipment you use and the dimensions and prices with it. I've ordered a few things that you guys used in your last hunt. Keep up the great work!! You guys are doing fantastic!!!
