The icon v hero debate is really interesting. Imo, it comes down to the the status of the player. Papin is adored by the fans of teams he played for (hero) but is lesser known in the world of football and fans. Torres is known by people around the world and has produced insane moments in football; for me that qualifies him as an icon.

With the whole lengthy thing, I think you need a combo in attack. 4222 is the best formation for me and having 1 lengthy striker and 1 more agile seems to be the way to go. Lengthy CDM is a must for me too because it makes the recovery runs insanely good.

Having worked in a couple of UK Call Centres, you have stats that get glanced at by your team leaders and such to display how many calls you took, average call length, pause time, etc. Most customers are often people who don't want to speak to you if you're cold calling to offer support with their product OR chatty customers who waffle. So sometimes you're due a break or to finish so hope to finish the call asap, other times you're fine staying on a prolonged call that makes it look like you're being productive when you're simply just leaving the customer tell you about their day-to-day tendancies, family or miscellaneous rants 😂

Whatever cards are in the promos are 100% boosted. Think of Winter Wildcard Pogba and Zlatan last year. When they dropped they played like Icons. Pogba felt like Cruyff on the ball. 2months later they felt like regular gold cards again and Pogba felt like Gerrard or Scholes on the ball all of a sudden

I reckon the whole old cards get worse is true - i think they’ll probably follow a multiplier depending on number of games played, e.g. they’ll play better around the start of owning them (games 0-20 so 1 weekend league probs😂) and maybe around their 100th game / other big landmarks they’ll play better again

This video just proved that James literally has no ball knowledge. In my opinion, Lewandowski and Aguero fully deserve to be icons. They are one of the best strikers of our generation and are way better than Fernando Torres.

Example for EA nerfing SBC cards later on is flashback neymar from last year, he was absolutely insane when he came out but not too long after that he was so bad, i think they had to nerf him since he was released pretty cheap.

torres should be a hero, aguero lewandowski and muller are icon worthy players imo, playing at an elite level for about a decade and for muller slightly longer plus one of the highest scorers in wc history and wc winner, kompany is on the threshold as injuries limited how much he actually played despite being at a high level for a long time

Aguero is 100% an Icon. Highest foreign all time goal scorer in the prem, created magical moments “Agueroooooooooooo” and is cities most iconic player for the club. He even has a statue😂so surely he’s an icon.

If you moved Rangers/Celtic to the prem the would struggle at first, but their following is both HUGE and if they were in the pl the sky money would be massive for them. Plus they'd get even more fans going to games because of being in the english league. They'd eventually (maybe 3-6 years) be competing at the top half of the table.
