@@Incroachment "del" is a spanish word that means "of the". "Del home" is spanglish, the joke is that he used keys that have nothing to do with spanish villas to reference spanish villas in spanglish.

Wow wish i heard of blomfu before. I was a stickler about keeping all my cooldowns on f4 num4 4 as all gamers do but they were so far apart that I could parse like the other boys. Now with blomfu ill be the best.

It’s been done many times before, but not this well. Kubrick’s second draft for The Shining script was full of scenes with Jack getting piss on his mixed-up typewriter keys, before Kubrick reverted back to the alcoholism and haunted hotel themes of Stephen King’s book. King still didn’t like the movie. Should’ve gone with the piss keys!

The bit about home row being his phone number gave me a flashback to the myth that Qwerty is the way it is because they needed typewriter-salesmen to be able to type out "typewriter" as conveniently as possible - without changing the row. But then I read a history paper about how the first typewriter layouts developed pretty randomly and stuff got added on over time (e.g. the first ones didn't have 0 and O, and 1 and I as separate keys, etc.). This sketch pretty much captured every time someone's tried to use my keyboard without switching back to Qwerty first. Physically the placement is still Qwerty so they get confused when they type out gibberish - even if they already know I use Dvorak because they've already had the exact experience. Somehow, it just doesn't compute.

How long does it take you to become accustomed to a different layout? I've always loathed QUERTY but I'm so used to it... I'm not a typist or anything but I know where all the keys are on without consciously thinking about it. I can't imagine retraining my brain to a new layout, even if it was superior. I am curious though, especially as I have had RSI issues in the past!

@@r-pupz7032 it took me about 3-6 months to become proficient. Within a year I was fully good. Maybe a few more years to remember a where a specific key was if my hands weren't resting on row and under pressure like quicktime event in a game. What helped immensely was clear stickers that had the Dvorak key in the corner so I could look and see without hiding the normal QWERTY layout. Also I used it at work and home. Probably the most important thing to get it solid in my head was avoiding situations where I would have to use QWERTY. During the learning phase it makes it insanely harder if you have to switch back and forth. After you have it down it is much easier to go back and forth. I just have to flip a mental switch and can do it. At this point im' still annoyed by QWERTY and will complain if I'm in a situation where I can't use Dvorak.

@@celer2010 I know exactly what you mean. I type Dvorak almost exclusively on QWERTY keyboards and people go to use it and are like "WTF?!?" Many people legitimately think I'm crazy.

How do you keep track of your 4s on a LE4BOM if they’re all over the place?

Well typically I like to have part of a number set in each hand so while I have 4 on my left, I have the f4 on my right Y'know It kinda gives you that sense of piloting a fighter jet or operating one of those excavator shovel things that are sometimes at places with sand? Just a nice mix of smooth *and* cool

Why would you need to wash your hands after peeing? its just like touching any other part of your body down there. Urine isn't dirty like feces its sterile so no health risk there. You only need to touch the top of your dick root to aim there isn't anything nasty there. At home I don't even need to aim I just blast without even touching and aim with my hips its easy.

Honestly if you ain't touching anything you're good when i pee the only thing i touch is my zipper and the flusher

That’s just a keycap change, but is it possible to make all the keys wherever you want like that for real?

@@BackForwardPunch there's no reason you couldn't, but you'd have to make a custom case for it too. there's certain measurements for keys, like 1U (any alpha/numeric key) and up to 7U (spacebar). so you'd have to change up how the actual case is underneath the keycaps. not that hard really. and you'd have to design a custom circuit board for it all, which would be the hard part, but you can program it to use firmware that allows you to set each switch to whatever you want. tl;dr: yes.
